Review: Crash

Alright, after taking on a combo ability from Kirby: the Crystal Shards and a normal ability, I shall now try my shot at a limited use ability. * applause *

Which one shall it be? * spins a wheel * Ah, here we go, Crash... wait, you gotta stop. No seriously, stop! Stop! STOP- * explosions * Ow.

After a mild coma, it's safe (or rather, not safe) to say that Crash does exactly what it says. It makes you crash into an enemy and you explode, making you die. Yeah, that's it.

... You can't seriously think that was it, do you? Crash does make you explode, but it doesn't jet you into an enemy and then you die. I just made that up for kicks. So, yeah, it makes you explode... What? Bomb can already make things explode? Multiple times? Well... uh, at least it's powerful, right? What? A different limited ability is much better?... This sucks.

To give a better description, Crash gives you the ability to kill all normal enemies on screen in one go. No exceptions... well, except for Shotzos and Gordos, but I don't exactly call them "normal" enemies. Certainly a good way to tell all those enemies to take a hike the next time they decide to hang around.

For mini-bosses, it doesn't guarantee a OHKO, but it does take a good chunk of HP outta them, but really, what's the point if it doesn't kill them? Sure, it'll make the battle shorter, but it could have made it even shorter then that if it just killed them on the spot.

Now, bosses. You guessed it, it also doesn't kill in one hit. Now, I can't complain about not killing in one hit for this, ‘cause that'd be too cheap to be an ability to be found normally. And again, it takes out... well, not as much HP as a mini-boss, but it takes out I'd say at least a third? I haven't used Crash in many of the games and it's been a while since I have, so this is kind of problematic on my end. Ugh, I don't feel like taking out my GBA games.

But before you begin to think this is a decent limited ability, go check out Mike. That's where it's at. It's like Crash only 3 times better, literally.

Sorry Crash, but out of the limited use abilities, I'm gonna have to say that you're perhaps one of the worst. Don't get me wrong, it certainly looks cool, and you explode, but you're not useful enough... Uh oh, another car. Well, better be off before I get hit and go into a coma again. C yas! * zooms off *
