Gallery and Mail Bag standby Dedede Daimyo has outdone himself yet again with a Kirby's Dream Land 3 Emaki! Here are the words right from his fingertips -- spoken words, too, which is kinda freaky:

It is a total of 88 inches in length, actually shorter than my first one of 100", but it looks longer in relation because I simply used smaller sheets of paper. My process was completely archaic, as with all my work. I first drew all of the characters out individually, then traced them into place/ positioned them accordingly in pencil. Next, characters were inked in fine pen and outlined in thick brush pen. Coloring followed, first the ordeal of crayoned-characters, then the process of colored pencil- backgrounds. I tried to get the look of hand drawn/colored visuals for which the game is so famous.

An Emaki (fully emakimono, Japanese for "picture roll") is a scroll of text, pictures, or both meant to be read or viewed horizontally.
