It was another fine day in Cappy Town. All the Cappy's were outside, enjoying the fine weather, but they were unaware about what was going to happen within the next few days. Kirby was out with Tiff and Tuff by the Kori Pond, where they were fishing. "hey! i think i've got one!" Tuff pulled on his line, but nothing happened. It all just stopped.
"Hunh?" Then there was a big crash at the Castle. "We'd better go check it out." Tiff said. "But.." "Let's go!" "er, alright." "C'mon Kirby!" "Puwa!"
When they arrived at the castle, they heard another big crash, then water came rushing by them. "Wha?" "What's with all this water?" "I don't know, but it usally means trouble.." They were just around the corner where the water was coming from when they heard someone shouting for help. "Somebody help us!!!!" "If you'd just give me a minute sire.." "WELL I DON'T GOT NO MINUTE! HEEEELLLP!" "Hold on, we're coming!" Right as Tiff, Tuff and Kirby got to the doorway, they saw King DeDeDe and Escargoon trying to fix a broken pipe, but DDD was just making it worse. "Whoa..." "Finally, Someone's here to help me!" DDD rushed over to them, but tripped over Escargoon, making him turn the wrench the wrong way. CRASH! "Escargoon! You fool! What'dya think yer doin' trippin' me like that!...." All of a sudden the water stopped. "hey, Whaddya know? It stopped!" "Well, looks like you didn't need us after all!" "I'm not so sure that i-" she stopped talking for some reason. "What's wrong Tiff?" The back wall started to inlarge, filling with water. "I think we'd better RRRRUUUUNNN!!!!!!" DDD and Escargoon looked back, noticing the swelled wall with water starting to squirt out of it. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" The back wall burst, sending a flood down the hallways, sending Kirby, Tiff, Tuff, DDD and Escargoon out the Balcony and down the front Courtyard. "Kirby this is all your faaaauuuuuulllllt!" (thud) "Now you know he didn't do anything.." "YEAH RIGHT! HE WAS THE MAIN CAUSE OF IT ALL!!" "Now calm down sire.." "KIRBY I'LL GET YOU YET!!" "Puya? <( O.O;)>" DDD grabs his mallet out of no where and starts trying to smash Kirby with it, but misses. "Kirby, look out!"
"OOOOOHHH!" "Listen, sire, let's just let Kirby go this one time, I know you'll get him another time. Let's just go back up to the castle and order the Waddle Dees to fix what we broke. Now, come on!" Kirby, Tiff and Tuff stared as Escargoon dragged DDD back up to the Castle. Escargoon almost never told DDD what to do. "Ok, that was weird.." "Awoo!" "I think we'd better go spy on them.." Back at the castle, they sneaked past the Guards and Waddle Dee workers and finally the throne. "Now, you just sit there and i'll go get you a glass of water." "Ok, but i'll get the mail-" "No, i'll get that too. you just relax." Tiff looked at Tuff, and vice-versa, but Kirby didn't do anything......
"SO!! I SEE HOW YOU TREAT OUR KING!" "We were just, uh,-" "Spying? I thought so! I could throw you in the dungeon for this!" "But we were just checking on DDD! We know something's up about you two!" In the background they heard DDD shout, "Escargoon you'd better hurray! I'm gettin' bored!" "Ohhohoho! COMING, SIRE! Ok, yer on to me, and i don't have much time, but i do say this: Your all a bad influence on the King!(Wha?!) Yeah. The Doc said that getting him riled up like that is bad for his health, so just stay away!" "Um, ok. C'mon, Kirby. Let's go." "thank you!" "No problem" So, with that, the trio left the Castle, and went back into town. "hmm..." "What is it Tiff?" "I was just wondering..about what Escargoon said about King DDD...Did they really go to the hospital? I think we should swing by there and see what Doctor Wattson says.." "Good idea." Later while they were at the Doctors Office, they tried to get the nurse to let them talk to him, but she said "You'll just have to wait till he's off duty." " But we've got to see him now!" "I'm sorry but you'llhave to wait!! Now please go wait somewhere, cause your HOLDING UP A LINE!" "Oh ok...:-L" Later, back at the Castle, Escargoon & DDD
were arguing, like usual, over Kirby. "Don't do it sire! We're already maxed out on our bills!" "I don't care! I'm gonna get a monster to clobber that Kirby once and fer ALL!"
DDD hit a button under the arm of his throne, making the chair fly backwards at a very quickly, into a hidden room. "Don't do it, pleeeeaaaasse!" DDD's throne spins around,
putting him to where he faced a giant TV screen, and finally, pressing a dusty button, the screen clicks on, and on the screen is one of the most creepy, weird and freaky salesmen that you'll never find anywhere else--Frontman. "Well Hello, King! It's been awhile! How can I help you??" "I need a monster that can beat Kirby!" "Oh that's how it ALWAYS is, isn't it? hmhmhmhmhmm!" "No, i mean it! I need something that's alot better than that Kirby! Something..that'll end him for good!" Frontman scratches his flat, square chin. "Hm, i see.Well first you'll have to work for me.." "WHAT?! I ain't workin' for nobody!" "Well, i guess you don't want to get rid of that pink troublemaker then.."
"Ok ok. What do I gotta do?" "Well, this may sound bizzare, but i'll be needing a blood sample..from Kirby, to be exact. Then we'll talk monsters." "A blood sample huh..
well, if it'll get rid of Kirby, i'll do it!" "I'll send the stuff, you think about the plan." The big transporter machine starts to whir, and big sparks appear, then it all goes calm..and a crate containing all the stuff appears, and King DDD starts to grin. It was the begining, of the end.
Chapter 2: The Stunt, The Sample and The Kirby
At the hospital, Kirby, Tiff and Tuff were waiting for Doc Wattson to get off from work. "I wonder how long it'll take?" "Hopefully not too much longer.." Then they heard a PING, and heard the nurse on the P.A. "DOCTOR EDGAR WATTSON IS NOW OFF-DUTY" Then Doc Wattson walked over to them. "Ssssso, i hear you youngsters were waiting for me?" "Yeah. we were wondering..did King DDD come by for a check-up?" "Why, ya know, he did... and..." "and what?" "Muahoo?" "and....he was perfectly fine!"
"ppppffft! <(-.- ;)>" "Did he say anything about... getting upset or anything?" "Nope. Clean as a whistle! but....." "BUT WHAT?!?!" "He didn't pay me for anything! not one cent out of him! He just left in his shiny car!" "Oh well.. we'll see ya later, Doc. we gotta get home." "Alright! See you youngsters later!" "Bye!!" On the walk home, Tiff and Tuff were discussing about what they should do next, but decided they would give it a rest.
On the next day, they decided they would go get somethings like seeds and stuff for a garden. As they walked by the hospital once more they noticed something different; ALOT different. They saw a sign that said "New Doctor: DDD". But Kirby paid no attention to that, cause he was looking at the sign below it, and it read "FREE CANDY!@--".Kirby rushed inside, before anyone could say anything, where he found DDD and Escargoon, the "new" doctors. "Hello Kirby! Do you want some candy? (Puyooo!!!!) First you gotta get a checkup! (whao?)" "Wait Kirby! It's a trap!" "Welll now i wouldn't say that, now, we just want to do good for the people!"
"Yeah right! how true is that!?" "Now Kirby...get up here on the table..we're going to check your ticker! Assistant, the Sterascope-thingy, gah i can't even say it right."
"Why do i HAVE TO BE THE NURSE!???" Escargoon gave DDD a look, and he nodded, looking reassured about something, and gave the "Doctor" his things, including a weird looking shot. "How long is this going to take?! We've got stuff to do! Can't you just give him the Lollipop already???" "Well, if you want us to hurry...we'll go straight to the end, which is MOST important for Kirby's health." Escargoon and DDD both looked at each other and grinned. "And what's the last thing you have to do??" Tuff said, interrupting their magic moment. "we have to take a small blood sample. I know it's not the best in the world, but it's important." "Important for WHAT?!?!" "uhhhhh..."
DDD instantly replied, "It's for research, for the next time you come by." "Really? I mean, Reeeeeaaaalllly sire..I thought the main reason was for medical research. Oh well same difference. Let's just cut to the chase." Escargoon takes out the dark looking, shot-thingy to take Kirby's blood with."This'll just take a minute...(kirby all of a sudden screams,then calms down) There we go! and we put a band-aid on.....there you go! Yer all fine now! here's your sucker! Have a nice day!"
Escargoon shoves them out, and waves goodbye. "Wait a minute... what happened to Doc Wattson?" "Oh, he'll be back tomorrow. he just had an off day. Now please leave!" and Escargoon slams the door in their faces, snickering to DDD, "They're the suckers!" As they walk down the path, Tiff says,"what was that all about?" "I have no idea." " Puwha!" "Let's go get our garden stuff!" Meanwhile, back at the hospital,
the so-called "doctors" are talking to Frontman. "So, you got the sample?" "Yeah! Anything else?!" "Nope! All you gotta do is send that sample back to me and i'll get to work." "So, what is the blood for, anyway?" "Oh, i could tell you, but it'd ruin the surprise! I'll send a picture when it's almost finished. Belive me King, it'll be one of the best monsters yet!
Chapter 3: Prelude to Disaster
Back at the Castle, DDD was just then sending the sample. "So how much is all this gonna cost me??" "Well, Hmm... (looks at the sample) As for cost matters...if it gets rid of Kirby, it's on the house!" "What??? Really?! Hey, wait a minute.. Thar's gotta be a catch, right?" "Like ALWAYS...but the only catch this time is if the monster flattens the pink puffball, you have to send it back to me. Otherwise... if it gets destroyed, which thats not a matter, you have to pay me!" DDD thinks, 'Should i back outta this?' "No thinkin' backin' out King! Our deal is done! Now i've got to get busy, if you want your monster." "Ok. But you'd better make it good!"
Just then Tiff, Tuff and Kirby just got back from shopping, heading back to Kori Pond. "Now let's see...Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Corn, and Cappy Fruit Vine. What should we plant first?" "Well iii think you should plant the corn first, since it grows the longest.." "Old Man Hopkins? What are you doin' here?" "Iiiii thought Iii'd just stop by....and...(cough), and supervise you three." Meantime, Kirby was looking thru the packets of seeds. "Muaoo...Whahoo...pooyea....WAOO!" he come across the Cappy Fruit Vine, and while no one was looking, opened the packet and ate some seeds. "Well we gotta get on this garden before sunset, Mr. Hopkins.." "Sunset? Time for bed already?? Seems like i just got up." "But Mr.." "Don't try to keep me up...i'll just go take a nap..." And he walks off torward his house. "Oh well. Let's get started, shall we? Let's start with the corn, since Old Man Hopkins said it took the longest to grow." "But on the back of the Cappy Fruit Vine it says it's one of the Plants that takes the longest to grow." "I know! let's plant them both at the same time!" "Ok!" And the two started planting, untill one run out of Cappy Vine seeds. "hey! there were supposed to have the same amount of seeds in every packet of everything! What a rip-off!" Kirby just giggled, getting the Wale Pail and watering the seeds behind them. "Hey.. I wonder what that rusty sickle is over there for?" "probably for cutting down tall weeds.""Oh well. Who cares?"
Later, at the Castle, Frontman had just finished taking a picture of the soon to be monster. King DDD was watching his own channel, Channel D D D, when a small TV screen popped out of nowhere, startling DDD. "Hey! don't come up scaring me like that!!" "Oh, i'm sorry King, but the monster's almost ready. I took a picture of it already, and here's what it looks like: @" DDD looks startled. "Whoa! That thing looks just like Kirby!" "Well, not exactly King. As you can see, it has red eyes and fangs, wings and a nasty temper. It can suck up things just like Kirby, but it can already fly, PLUS it can breathe fire." "Wow..." "That's not the only thing. It can also bite, and when it bites onto something, like Sword Kirby's Iron Sword, it can suck the power right out of it and gain that power!" "hey that's really cool! But what do we call this thang!??" "Well, it's basicly Kirby's evil brother, so here at N.M.E. we've been calling him...Dark Kirby!" Frontman starts laughing menacingly, but DDD just sits there. "So I suppose that this thing will be the end of Kirby, and NOT ME?" "oh, it's just programmed to kill Kirby and cause utter chaos. But I come up with a plan to get Kirby right were we want him! The only weakness of Dark Kirby is @#8nw#~, got that? Now you just relax" Meta Knight was overhearing all of this, and thought he should tell Kirby. "Kleever and Cutlass, come." Sword and Blade were Meta Knight's teammates. "Yes sir! What do you want sir?" "I want you to go tell Kirby @#8nw#~!" "Roight! We'll get roight on it, sir!" and the 2 go looking for Kirby. Meta Knight turned back to DDD and listened.
"Hey! Well guess what? The monster's all ready to go! But i must warn you..." Just then Escargoon come by. "Hey! What does that guy want!?" "I was just saying that the Dark Kirby is ready, and that when he comes thru the transporter, there'll be a 30 second blackout. Why? Cause this monster is a touch above the one's you've seen. The old transporter may not take it." "well just send it already!" "Ok, your the King!" The transporter machine starts to whir once more, and everything goes white....then they hear a POP and everything goes black. "is it here?" then they see two blood red eyes, and a hiss-like snickering. Then the TV screen pops, and they barely see Frontman thru all the static. "And so it begins! The begining of the end for the STAR WARRIOR KIRBY!!!!!!! MUAHAHAHAHHAAAAA!" ......"heheheeeehehehehehaaaaheehaaaa!!"
Chapter 4: Hear Evil, See Evil, Run From Evil
Tiff, Tuff and Kirby had just finished their garden. "Whew...i'm glad that's over..(Yeah..) But at least it'll be good when it's time to eat it all!" "Muaoooo!" "Hey, look! it's Sword and Blade!" Sword and Blade had just arrived. "I..wish..we..could've..come ..sooner but..(Huh??)" "We were..coming..to..warn Kirby!" "warn Kirby?" "About what?"" Wha?"
"King DDD has a new mon-" "monster." "Meta Knight? What's going on?" "I knew this day would come; when Kirby would have to face....HIMSELF! (WHAT?!) Yes, DDD has gotten a monster that is an exact copy of Kirby, but it's better in some ways. I've seen this several times before, but only one made it out alive." "Oh really? What did the other guy have that the others didn't?" "................" "Meta Knight!!!" "The other one had true courage, heart and love. He could only be the real one." Meta Knight's eyes glitter a glorious yellow. "Well, who was that guy?" "Well, heh, his name remains unknown at the time." Just then they heard a big crash by the Bakery. "OH! what was that??!" they all rush over to see their worst nightmare: Dark Kirby! "Whoa! what is that thing!?" "It's the monster I was telling you about!" Dark Kirby was chasing Chef Kawasaki! "Help! Someone! Get this thing off me! I thought it was Kirby but it turned out to be another of DDD's monsters!" "Kirby, suck it up!" Kirby tries to suck it up, but Dark Kirby just flies backwards. "EEEEEHHHHHEHEHEHEHEEEEEEHEAAA!!" Dark Kirby tries to suck up Kirby with twice the sucking power. "Kirby! Look out! hold onto
me!" The whole team(Tiff, Tuff, Kleever, Cutlass, Chef Kawasaki and Meta Knight) try to hold onto Kirby, but when it seemed all was lost the evil Kirby just stopped sucking them up. "Now, Hurry! while it's catching it's breath! RUN! Go hide! It's too strong!" "We'll handle it for ya!" Sword and Blade try to damage it, but nothing happens.
"Don't mess with it! It can only be damaged by Kirby himself!" They all run outside, where they went to the Shepard's Barn, where they all crowded in with the sheep. "We should be safe in here. Now, what should Kirby do to defeat that thing???" "It varies. We just have to watch and see what it does." They heard Dark Kirby outside. "ssp! Hiss! ........." "is it gone?" "I....I don't know..." It all went quite..all they heard was the sheep bleating... .... ...."Man... it's sure getting hot in here..." "OH! THAT'S IT! EVERYONE GET OUT OF ZE BARN NOW!" "But it'll get us.." "IT'S EITHER THAT OR GETTING BURNED TO ZE GROUND! He has set the barn on FIRE!" "What!?"
They all went outside to see the barn engulfed in flames, Dark Kirby snickering, "HEEHEEHAHA!" "Now's your chance, Kirby!" Kirby started to suck up the flames and became FIRE KIRBY!!! "Puwha!" Fire Kirby fires off a powerful blast of flames at Dark Kirby, completely covering it's skin but..."Somethings wrong!" "What's wrong Meta Knight? That thing should be toast now!" "But look closer: the flames are just weaving around him! It's no effect!" "Woll what do we do now?" "I know exactly what we should do: Go to DDD!" So they all run to the Castle, one by one dropping a person off to create a diversion untill all that's left is Tiff, Tuff and Kirby. "You three go! I'll try to hold it off, just like the others!" The trio make a beeline up the Castle Courtyard. Meta Knight tries to keep Dark Kirby back, but the bad Kirby turns into a ball, hits the ground with force, and thrusts right into Meta Knight before he can do anything, extending his razor-sharp claws, slashing Meta Knight's cape and barely scratching his
side. "Meta Knight!" "Don't worry, I'm o.. k. Just go! He's in hot pursuit!" Right as they got to the Castle gates, the two Waddle Doo guards stopped them "HALT! By the means of the royal servant Escargoon, we can NOT let you thru!!" "but it's an emergancy!" "That, is not an option. We CANNOT LET YOU THRU!" Tiff, thinks then.. "We need to see Mom and Dad!" "well, I, uh..." They both looked at each other, whispering 'Should we?' 'I don't know...' Kirby turned around to see Dark Kirby only a few feet away. "MUAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! <( OoO;)>" "Well, ok. since it's that bad. Go thru." "Thank you!!" The three were in the hallway when Dark Kirby got to the Waddle Doo's.
"HAL-" CRASH!! "Muwhaoo!....HA heheheHA!" Dark Kirby blew right thru the Waddle Doo's, sending them high into the air. "Hurry! we don't have much time left!"
Chapter 5: Rumble In the Big House
Finally, Tiff, Tuff and Kirby got to the top of the Castle, where King DDD and Escargoon was--supposedly. "We're here! DDD! (Escargoon!) We know your here! (And we know about the monster!) So come out of hiding!" "Muaooowha!" No one was there. "Oh nooo......" "m-m-m-muwha?? <( -.* )>" Dark Kirby was making his way up the staircase. What were they to do? There wasn't many hiding places in the throne room. Tiff saw a weird hole at the top of the left side of the room. but paid no attention to that. 'Come on..let's go to the Upper Balcony..maybe he won't find us there..' As they tip-toed to the entrance to the balcony... "HyeaHyeaHyea! We figured you'd come lookin' fer us!" There on the Balcony was Escargoon and King DDD. "Yeah, thought You could escape your doom huh??? well yer not! Look behind you!" they all looked back, and saw Dark Kirby staring right at them. "And don't think yer gonna escape, either! Do it, Escargoon!" "Right on, sire!" Escargoon hit a button on a remote control
and the staircase fell right off the side of the Castle. "Pretty smart, huh??" Dark Kirby just hisses at the trio, who are in deep thought. What could they do to get out of this? 'I've got it! You've got to trust me on this!' "Hey, DORK Kirby! GO GET SOME!" Tuff throws Kirby over DDD and Escargoon, and with Dark Kirby filled with rage, chases right after the soaring, wailing Kirby "WAAAAAAAAAAAA!" and right into DDD & Escargoon. "No, no wait dooOOOOOON'T DO IT!!!!" BAM! Dark Kirby smashes right into Escargoon and DDD, who are now in the air. "Hurry! let's go! Kirby, HIDE!" As Tiff and Tuff made their way down the outside staircase after Kirby, Dark Kirby was gaining on Kirby, but Kirby knocked over a potted Capprius Plant, smacking Dark Kirby right in the face. He let out some gibberish, then set the plant aflame.
"Keep going Kirby! We're almost there!" At the same time, DDD and Escargoon were just coming back from their flight. CR-RASH! "Ow....what..happened?" "Well, sire..it's a long story, but...."( RUMBLERUMBLERUMBLERUMBLE )" "W-W-W-W-WHAT'S HAPPININ'??!" "I think the outside staircase is breaking off and tumbling to the ground...." "WHAT!!? That's our only one way outta here!" "Oooohhhhhhhh......"
Tiff and Tuff Finally got to the Cellar, where Kirby was hiding. "Whoa..that Dark Kirby thing is still after him...." Tuff picked up a rock and threw it at a big clay vase on the other side of the Cellar, distracting the Dark Kirby, while Tiff and Tuff snuck into the Cellar. "hey Kirby, you ok?" "Muaoo! Phooie.." They all looked around. They had never been here before. They saw Sweet Capp Hill brand soda, in both kegs and bottles. They also saw a few sitting stools, where they all sit down. "What is this place?" "Mmm, don't know. This could be the Cellar that Dad was talking about..." "You mean the one we should stay away from...cause it's dangerous?" "Yeah" As they looked around some more, Kirby got up and looked thru a crack in the wall, where he saw Dark Kirby circiling the sky, waiting for them to come out. Then he let out a few sighs, and went back over to sit down. He tried to jump up onto the stool, but it tumbled over, uncovering a button. "Hey, Kirby! i wonder what that does???" Tuff jumped off his seat and (Tuff, don't! it could be- oooooohhh.....) ...stomped the button, uncovering a hidden door! As they went to check it out, the doorknob started to turn, and the door started to open (Oh no now look what you've done!) and the person who walked thru the door was none other than Meta Knight! "Meta Knight! I'm so glad to-" "What do you think you are doing?! This is my secret quarters! You do not belong here!" "Well we're sorry, but you see...." "That things out there!" "Exactly." "Oh, I see. Follow me." They did what he told them. he took out a soda bottle, and unscrewed the bottom off it, and took out a key. Then he pushed a soda keg out of the way, uncovering a hidden door. Meta Knight used the key to unlock the door, and told them to follow and not say a word. The path was mossy and smelled musty. When they finally arrived to a door, he pushed a button and they heard a sucking noise. then he used the same key to unlock the door, and there they were: in Kori Pond! "Hey....my fishing pole is attached to the door!" "Now...GO! Before the monster learns that you are gone!" and with that, Meta Knight closed the door, pressed the button and Kori Pond filled back up. "Let's go into the Kori Shack and think out our plan." "Right!"
Chapter 6: Battleplan
The Kori Shack was a dusty place, much like the Cellar, but smaller. Fishermen used to keep there Fishing Poles and tackle boxes in here, but that was a long time ago.
Now, there's a table in the middle, with two chairs and a booster seat. And the trio were now talking about what they should do about Dark Kirby. "We can't run from it forever!" "Yeah, it'd eventually get us, so we've got to make a plan...." Kirby gets his gameface on. "Muuuuwah! <( ~.' )>" "Ok, let's review what we know from the begining.
1. Escargoon had told us that they had went to the doctor, right? ( Yup.) So, he knew we'd be going there to ask, so he went ahead and took DDD to Doc Wattson.
And remember that he had said to 'STAY OUT'? That was before the monster was here, and he thought he could stall us, but we barely made it thru." "And I hate to say this but it was Kirby's fault. If he hadn't went into the Doctors this morning none of this would've happened!" "Yuuuu....<( q.q )>" "Aw don't take it the wrong way Kirby, we know you can't resist candy, no one can." "MUUUUUAOOOO! <( ^o^ )>" "Ok, anyway, i think it's a big advantage over Kirby that the Dark Kirby can fly, so Kirby needs to cut off it's wings." "Yeah, Sword Kirby!" Suddenly the door tto the shack flies open! "I think it would be much better if he was Cutter Kirby." "Meta Knight? Oh, ok. Cutter Kirby...why that type?" "Because Sword Kirby uses alot of energy to use the Sword Beam, and Cutter Kirby's Sythes do not." Kirby nods for some reason. "So where do we need to lead Dark Kirby to where it'd be a good place for Kirby to have an advantage?" ".............Downtown." "What?! but there's alot of goods and people that might get hurt!" "Don't worry. I have already evacuated the place. All that are left is a few mirrors and utility supplies. I have already come up with a plan. Kirby, it's weakness is @#8nw#~ !" "Puyaaaa!" At that moment, they heard screeching and banging on the top of the roof. "Oh no, he's here! We have not covered everything yet!" "Well you'll just have to coach him thru it! C'mon!" Right as they got outside, Dark Kirby was sending fireballs on top of the Shack. "Alright, Kirby! Suck up the sickle!" It took a minute, but Kirby finally sucked up the sickle, becoming Cutter Kirby! "Now, let it chase us into Downtown!" As they weaved thru all the Water Fountains in the park, they were almost there. "Why exactly do we have to---- to be in Downtown???" "I cannot explain right now!" As they got in Town, Chef Kawasaki was out throwing pots and pans at the oncoming Dark Kirby. "Now take that! Chapter 7: Klash of the Kirbys
It was the match of the millinium, well, almost.Cutter Kirby tripped, rolling right into a tree. "Kirby, watch out!" Dark Kirby seized that moment and spit out a few flames, trying to hit our pink hero! Cutter Kirby rolled out of the way, and sent a few Cutters torwards Dark Kirby, who just flew by them. "Hahahahhahaaa! Puya!" "Kirby watch it! he's coming right for you!" "Now, Kirby! JUMP!" Cutter Kirby did what Meta Knight told him, and it saved his pink hide; He was now on top of his evil twin! "Way to go Kirby!" Cutter Kirby held on for his life, but Dark Kirby soared into the air, hissing and clawing at Cutter Kirby, the all of a sudden he took a sharp dive, and right before they hit the ground, Dark Kirby took a harsh backdive! "Oh no! Kirby are you all right???" Meta Knight just chuckled. "The Star Warrior wouldn't get hurt that easily. Look closer." Thru the mist of the dust, they saw Cutter Kirby had let go long enough to suck himself full of air, and slowly floating to the ground. However, Dark Kirby knew none of this untill he had went to the outside of a tree, where he caught a glimpse of him. "MUUUUUUWHAAAAAAA!? HIIIIYA!" Dark Kirby turned red with fury, but just hovered there, untill he calmed down, came back to the earth and.."EEEEEEEhahahahhaaaaaaaaaa!" Dark Kirby suddenly sucked up a nearby hammer and became Dark Hammer Kirby! "Uh-oh....this doesn't look good. Kirby, be careful!" Dark Hammer Kirby charged straight towards Cutter Kirby. "Now, Kirby!" The gold Cutter on Kirby's hat started to shine, and whiplashed forward, sending off a single cutter at Dark Hammer Kirby, cutting off his left wing, which fizzled and sparked untill it was destroyed. "Puya? ... "Mu wha-wha-wha-wha!?!?!?" Dark Hammer Kirby's eyes turned a deep firey red, and he looked at his wooden hammer, thought for a bit, then started to give a very evil grin. Dark Hammer Kirby then engulfed the hammer in flames, then charged after Cutter Kirby once more. "Kirby, do it again!" Cutter Kirby fired off a Cutter once more, but Dark Hammer Kirby just blocked it with his Flaming Hammer. He tried to smash Cutter Kirby with it, but he just jumped out of the way, and fired another Cutter at Dark Hammer Kirby, this time cutting off the right one. Dark Hammer Kirby just laughed, and a new pair of wings sprouted from where the old ones were! "ARRRGH! All that trouble for nothing?" "That doesn't matter. Now, Kirby, do your Twister Cutter!" Cutter Kirby got on one leg and started to spin himself with the other, untill all he was was a yellow and pink cyclone. Dark Hammer Kirby took flight once more, but Cutter Kirby's attack was too much. Cutter Kirby fired off a large disc Cutter, chopping off both wings at the same time. "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! MUUUUUUUWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Dark Hammer Kirby screeched. The wings did not grow back this time. He had been banned from flight.
As he hit the ground, he rolled right into another tree, with Kirby fashion. Dark Hammer Kirby instantly got up and grabbed his now black Hammer, and started sending fireballs Cutter Kirby's way. "Now use up the rest of your Cutter energy by sending Dark Kirby a tornado of Cutters!" "What?? Then Kirby won't have any defenses!"
"You'll understand." Cutter Kirby started spinning again, and this time he just didn't send 1 Cutter, he sent 15 Cutters and an extremly large one, slashing thru all the fireballs.
Dark Hammer Kirby knocked thru enough with his hammer to make it, but his hammer was finished. The one big sythe got caught in the tree, and Dark Kirby just chuckled. He jumped up to where the Cutter was and literally sunk his fangs into it. Instantly, the cutter was turned into sand, and Dark Kirby now had the Cutter Ability-permanitly! Dark Kirby started spinning, sending out flaming Cutters! "Kirby! Hurry, before they reach you! suck up all the mirrors!!" Kirby sucks up the mirrors, and he blasts off, spinning in the air. The one last mirror is there, he looks into it, looking mistified, then sucks it up, and gets a jester's hat and a tiny, glowing sword, and drops back to the ground. "Puwha!" "Hey, it's Mirror Kirby!" Mirror Kirby uses the small, glowing sword to create a Bright Mirror! All the scorching sythes go into the mirror, and come back out towards Dark Kirby with triple the power! The Ultra-Cutters hit the spinning Dark Kirby, sending him up into the night sky. "Phooie..." A cutter was in Dark Kirby's Cutter Hat, making it fly off and spark out. Dark Kirby fell back to the ground with a thud, and slowly got back up. "Kirby, you've almost got him!" "Do it Kirby!" Dark Kirby started sending out a few weak fireballs, but Mirror Kirby took a long leap, and brought down his Bright Sword, slicing Dark Kirby right down the middle, turning him into a bright
sprite, and it shot up into the air, making a loud KA-BOOM! and a shape of Kirby flashing a rainbow of colors fell down and faded out of the night sky. "Kirby, you did it!!!"
"Muaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahoooooooooooo! Whaoooo whaooo WHAOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" "Good work Kirby! I knew you could do it!" "Kirby.....I can't belive you beat a double of yourself... A better double of yourself. I'm proud of you, Kirby! You are really a true Star Warrior!" Kirby does his little dance of celebration.
Chapter 8: Double Trouble No More
The next day, the townspeople all gave Kirby a big party. Some would say, "Kirby, your really great!" and others would shout, "Kirby you ROCK!", but Kirby's favorite thing was when they sat down to eat. "Woll here ya go, Kirby! it's all your favorite dishes!" Before anyone could do anything, Kirby sucked it all up, every last bite! "Muaooo!"
"Kirby, we love you!" Tiff gave Kirby a kiss. <( -^o^- )> Meanwhile......
"What do you mean it got destroyed???" "Well, if you never sent any crummy monsters.." "We couldn't do anything! That ain't right! Give me a freebie!" "Oh, i'm really sorry, King. I told you, if the monster got beaten, you'd have to pay me...$99,000,000,000!" "WHAT?!?! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT WE OWE YOU!" "Well, what goes around, comes around! Well, See ya, DDD!" "WHAT?! You come back here! I ain't finished with you yet!" And so, with another of N.M.E's monsters gone, Kirby can live peacefully for a little while, anyway.
