A star warrior’s ship is pretty
simple. A couple of flight controls, some storage and an
autopilot. The same was true with Kirby’s ship. It floated
gently in an unknown nebula, feeding warrior data into his
brain. Meanwhile, a defense system looked for enemies. It
spotted some. On a Planet called Popstar. Above Popstar lay the
gently floating fountain of dreams. It was being disrupted. The
dual power sources, the star rod and rainbow sword were broken.
Without the flow of the dreams, Kirby’s sleep would end. The
ship awoke Kirby as it flew out of the nebula. He had a job to
do.
Meanwhile, on Popstar, King Dedede
looked at the shards of the legendary sword and staff. He sent
his pieces all over. 4 were scattered on Popstar. The remaining
3 pieces of each were hidden in the fountain, a fairy world and
a mountainous planet. Only the King knew what the breaking of
the objects meant.
Also, at the exact same time 24
hours ago, Meta Knight looked at the Star Rod and Rainbow Sword.
How much he wished to use these to banish his foes. If only his
foes weren’t using those objects against him! He half-heartedly
broke the 2 objects into 7 pieces with his sword. At the same
time, 48 hours later, a falling star hit the Dreamland coast.
Kirby stepped out. Unlike it was
commonly recorded, Kirby had the ability to speak, not just
parrot. When Kirby stepped off the high platform, he was greeted
by one of the stranger citizens of Dreamland, Gooey. Gooey,
could not talk, for his tongue was way too long to do anything
like that. Yet Gooey seemed to be telling Kirby something. Kirby
looked and saw a forest. An evil forest.
“I guess that is where I go
first.” Kirby said in a hesitant manner. If you knew that you
were saving the universe, you’d be annoyed too. Kirby also felt
extremely hungry. So first he and Gooey sat down to lunch.
