One day, in the depths of Dream
Land, a sinister plan was being planned.
"And after we plan this plan,
our plan shall be complete!"
"Yeah, and what EXACTLY is this oh-so brilliant plan of yours?"
"Lead Kirby into the pyramid that's square, but it looks round."
"Are you sure? You know, they DO have advantages in there."
At Kirby's house, he and Nago
where playing chess.
"Check." Said Kirby.
Nago began to sweat. It was his
turn. He looked at the board and moved a piece.
"CHECK MATE! WHOO-HOO!
CHAMPION! I BEAT THE FORMER CHAMP! And ya know why? Cause he
ain't champion no more, unlike ME! YEAH!"
"You can stop dancing,
chess-champ." Said Kirby. Nago sat down. Just then, Coo flew in
the window. "Hiya! I just saw! It's a pyramid!" Said Coo.
"So? I just beat Kirby in chess. Now THAT'S news." Nago replied.
"C'mon! Let's go! You guys can ride on me!" Said Coo.
It was a long ride, and it was
annoying, too. With Nago bragging on and on and on about how he
beat Kirby at chess.
"And then I, the champion, was
STUMPED by this creampuffs ability to stop me from winning! But
then I said to myself, 'This is an EASY situation! I've had WAY
harder situations than THIS!"
And it all continued until,
they made it to a desert wasteland, and Coo had to say this:
"ACK! The pyramid's GONE!"
"WHAT?!" Nago and Kirby cried,
"That's imposible!"
"Maybe it was just a mirage."
Nago said.
When they returned home, there
was a letter at Kirby's door. It said:
Dear Kirby,
It's me, Ribbon.
I hope that you can come over to the Iceburg. I've found
something interesting that you might wanna check out.
See ya,
Ribbon
Kirby scribbled a reply on the
back saying:
NOT NOW! ANY TIME BUT NOW! Nago's gone insane, K? Buh-bye,
Kirby!!!
"Send this to Ribbon." Kirby
gave the note to Coo. Coo flew away, leaving the two behind. All
was silent, until Nago said:
"Do ya wanna hear on how I
became chess-champion?"
