Kirby doesn't go on his adventures alone. Er, actually, he does for the most part. However, in two of his most (least) celebrated games, he fought off Dark Matter with the help of some furry, finned, or feathered friends. Rick, Kine, Coo, and then Nago, Pitch, and ... uh, Chuchu. Each one helped Kirby get through levels, changed the way he traveled, and modified his adopted powers.

Having way to much time on my hand and having adored the bestial buddies, I've often put thought into what else would make a good pet. I preferred the Friends to, say, more powers since they changed the way you actually played through the game, not just how you blew things up. They added a new dimension to gameplay. But, I digress. This isn't about me, it's about what you would do!

How would you make an Animal Friend? There's plenty of species left to flesh out. Or maybe you'd like to see an already existing character become ridable, like Grizzo or Pon? Whatever the case, there's these simple guidelines that are required by all helpers:
