Animal Friends Creation Choice

Fans have submitted what they think would make great Animal Friends. A lot of entries came in. Some were unique, some were horrible, and some weren't even animals! (Hey, that's okay, tho') I've put thought into it, I've weighed them out, and I've determined that the best one is-

Not so fast! Before you hear what I, the "judge" of this "contest" (if either could be called those), thought about them, I want to know what you thought about them. This will help out when planning any future "If You Could Make A ..." inqueiries.

What do you think of the Friend's name?

No thought was put into it.

It is pretty awkward.

It'd fit in with the rest.

The name seems stolen.

What do you think about the Friend's appearance?

Its looks weren't described.

The appearance wasn't inspired.

The pet could blend in with others.

It is too complex to be on Pop Star.

What do you think about the Friend's handling? (general movement and interaction with Kirby)

It doesn't do anything.

Nothing we haven't seen before.

They were new and interesting.

It went far beyond anything seen before.

What was the Friend's special movement abilities like? (ie: mobility on certain terrains, swimming, flight, jumps, etc)

It had no special manuevers.

They were not all too interesting.

Its special skills filled a unique niche.

The skills were superior versions of existing ones.

How balanced was the Friend's abilities, as a whole? (skills, powers, etc)

It had too much against it.

Nothing about it popped, neither good nor bad.

Its capabilities balanced out well.

It was super powerful with few limits.

How did the Friend handle copied abilities?

None were specifically addressed or described little.

They were not all that inspired or had little variation.

Their uses were presented in new, interesting ways.

The powers were overpowered or over the top.

When compared to the existing Animal Friends, how does it compare?

It in no way belongs with them.

It blends in and gets masked by the rest.

It blends in but still stands out as unique.

It dominates the previous pets and overshadows them.

If it were in a Kirby game with Friends, would you use it?

Not if it was in a room by itself and I hadn't one.

I would pick it up if I knew I'd need it.

There'd be no problem playing the game with it.

I would go out of my way to get it.

All in all, did you like this submitted Friend?

It was no good. Terrible, even.

It was alright, I guess.

It was great. I loved it.

No, nothing else was touched on.

Yes... but it was pretty lame.

It had some good additional information.
