I have read a bunch of anime complaints and each of them say Kirby can talk. I have never heard him actually "talk" Ok yah in super smash bros when he copies Pikachu the weird 'Pic-a-choo" but that's just a noise. I have never heard him talk, just squeaks a bit. I know that he has slight English ((hi,huh,..ect)) but its not like is going to strike up a conversation. Usuallly he either squeaks or emotion is showed by the face.
