Ever since I was in the 5th grade I had become obsessed with
drawing Kirby. I had been playing his games since I was 5,
they're what drove me into gaming. In 2001 I saw a review for
Sonic Adventure 2, I hadn't played the game but Sonic now had
a dopple-ganger, so I made one for Kirby. He was black, in to
sword play and had a jagged scar on the top of his head.
Later on I changed him to be an evil wizard with a cape and
staff. He lost the scar but had sinister eyes. (I'll try to
draw him in oekaki later) Soon I thought, hey there's no
other cream-puff like guys in Kirby's realm, except Black, who
I had now created. So I came up with an origin for my
creation which led up into an origin for Kirby:
200 years ago in ancient Dreamlandia(past Dreamland), on the
continent of Canya (other area I made on Popstar), there lived
a puff (that's what I'm calling Kirby, he's a puffling) named
Kisca (bare with me). Kisca had a cousin named Mousun. Every
year when pufflings became of age 16, they chose their fate of
their chosen destiny: Either warlock or knight. The pufflings
had served the Kingdom of Dreamlandia for a great time, just
as well as the Knight-Tribe (Meta-Knight has a foggy origin
from here). When Kisca became of age he chose the path his
best friend had been forced to choose: Knight-warrior. Mousun
chose warlock. Mousun however had black heart and was driven
by power. When he received his staff, he planned to conquer
Dreamlandia. Mousun created a dark plant, that would spawn
and evil very vile and sinister. After 1 week of the seed's
laying, a plant had sprout, Mousun went to check it. When he
arrived the plant had thrived beautifully, and the bud and
flowers were huge. When Mousun got just a bit closer; the
plant sprang open and a dark fog emerged from it and covered
Mousun with eternal darkness. When the fog had passed it
retreated to hiding in Mousun's staff, but Mousun was no more
he went by the name Black and now controlled an eternal dark
entity: Dark Matter, with it he possesed many beings, created
an army and took control of the Kingdom. Kisca, was shocked
to see all of his tribe obliterated by his evil, greedy cousin
and using the combined power of the Star Rod, the Rainbow
Drops, the Heart Star Shards and a little help from the faires
of Ripple Star, who lent him the Crystal Shards, he fought
Black and sealed him away in a dark realm.
Of course, all of Kisca's tribe had perished so Kisca went to
work making a ship. It took him 5 years and a little whiles
later, before he died, he traveled in it. Then using a
special technique that the fairies of Ripple Star taught him,
he reincarnated himself, drove his soul out of the body and
then cyrogenically froze (real year this is happening, Earth
wise-2046) the new, what he called "Warp-Star-Knight" and left
it in Pop Star's orbit for over 100 years. Once the time had
passed, the "Warp-Star-Knight" was awakened, his name was
Kirby, and his destiny was to see the revival of both Dark
Matter and Black, for Kisca could not kill his own cousin.
And so our hero Kirby's destiny (if he ever finds it) is to
thwart Black's evil designs and discover his origins. He is
now the age of 11, and can speak very well, unlike the anime
says.
