Not entirely sure, but the highest ranking from a normal member that I see now is Ceceil Felias with 2385 posts (Final Star rank).

The overall top poster is RMD with Diddgery in second.

If somebody reaches 5,000 posts they should be automatically modded.

My point was that just because a person that has a lot of posts doesn't mean they're qualified to be a moderator.

I understand but the chances of reaching 10,000 posts are slim to none. And there are one or two mods some of us would not consider qualified to be a mod anyway. I believe it would work itself out naturally in most situations.

What are the chances of that a person with 10000 posts hasn't been spamming? Why would such a rule be put into effect in the first place? I don't understand how a person can be determined more qualified than another to become a moderator because of something as ridiculous as a high post count. I just don't get it. Plus, the person with 10000 posts may not even want to be one.

The whole "rank" thing pisses me off. Under where my avitar should be, It says "stardreammer" wich is obviously the "noob rank." Now I am possibly going to be treated with no respect, because I am a "n00b." Seriously, what's the point?

Anyway, it's a quick reference to how much they post. Can't expect to be a level 60 black mage when you ust started out in WoW.

It really doesn't matter. There are people with higher ranks than me that people don't get respect because the of the way they post. As long as you don't act like that, people will respect you.
