Funny thing is, I only showed up at the forum because it seemed like that was the easiest way to organize a thing to get work on game pages on the main site going. Of course, screenshots and model images kind of put a halt to that. Even I admit text can only go so far, I suppose.

Maybe next time I see Mints around I'll see if he can notice the forums long enough to set some people up on mod positions, but I've already kind of bothered him about projects that no one cares about so why would I bother him about projects people <i>do</i> care about?

(Although really I've been so far removed from forum-going for so many years I'm not sure what people do on forums anymore...)

i don't know about the likelihood of me being able to take on forum duties since anyone who could promote me is inactive or focuses on the main site, but if anyone really wanted to appeal for me to snaff or mints, that's cool too

the forum is somewhat slow enough for me to handle i think, and oekaki is dead so i don't have that to look after anymore

I just want my posts to get approved, it’s getting ridiculous at this point. I’ve tried posting so many things and checking back every day, and nothing is getting updated. I do agree that Kirbinator should be a mod. That’s a good choice. I get that people have jobs to do, but that just means that other people with less responsibilities should be doing mod stuff when that aren’t. I hope this didn’t sound too pissy, but in a forum, you’re supposed to post, but I haven’t gotten a single post of mine verified. I may as well have just made my account. (Also I’m remaking the old smileys, though I hope the old ones still stay as a relic of the past, (assuming that they even get seen and put on the list.))

Down to one hundred and eighteen and it looks like I've gotten through this year's posts pending approval, with a couple exceptions.

I see a few reported posts. I'm not sure how I'll handle those, seeing as they're a couple years old, and the relevant posters either aren't here any more or appear to be behaving in more recent posts. I might make an attempt to round up some folks this weekend to get opinions and see if I can contact anyone to do some mod/admin promotions.

Seeing you do this and help get the forum back on its feet after.... over 2 years, REALLY made me happy. I was having a bad day, and finding out this happened has lifted my spirits right up. All attempts at getting a proper place for the Kirby community to chat up and running have failed. This is a miracle from the heavens.

Please, keep doing what you’re doing. I hope someone other than me will appreciate your efforts. Getting on just once a week or even once a month to approve posts and moderate the forums would do wonders for this place.
