I like the Brawl English better than the Anime English, and the Japanese Anime one better then both of them.

He probably has to know a lot of languages because he travels around so much. I do wish they had explained just how he seemed to know Dreamlandish (or whatever the Dreamlanders actually speak - since they're not humans, I doubt it's actually Japanese) so quickly.

Kirby world is obviously like Star Wars world, while some planets have some different languages everyone knows that 1 language that everyone speaks.

Heck, part of the basic premise of the TV series parallels Star Wars. The only difference here is that it's longer and the Obi-wan and Yoda characters don't die.

Dakonyo/Kit Cosmos. While he's not technically a Star Warrior and is more based on the Japanese soldier who got stranded on an island all the way through WWII's end his story parallels Yoda's as well. Even after they establish who he's a parody of, he trains Fumu, Bun, and Kirby (similar to how Yoda trained Luke on Dagobah).

Yeah.
If you think about it that way it should be the other way around, so Meta is Yoda and <what's his face, I forgot and cba scrolling up> is Obi-wan. Not to mention Meta only fights when he needs to which is sort of like Yoda.

I dunno - Meta doesn't strike me as being nice enough to be Yoda. Well, then again, neither is Dakonyo. *Hasn't watched Stars Wars in ages, might be wrong on how nice Yoda is.*
I don't think anyone would be able to take Meta Knight seriously if he started talking like Yoda. Squishy blueberry wearing armor with a speech deficiency?

Before we start this war over who fits Yoda better, let's compare the characters.

Meta Knight is a Star Warrior that fought Nightmare's majuu until he was the last one standing. Afterwhich he had to throw in the towel or be killed. He was present when Kirby landed on Popstar and seemed to have a good idea on Kirby's abilities. He also trained Kirby in how to weild a sword.

Dakonyo is a Galactic Soldier Army commander who fled the war after a humiliating defeat and never resurfaced, long enough to not know if the war had ended. He too gave Kirby a rigorous training session however his was more a physical endurance and survival skill training.

Now let's examine Obi-Wan and Yoda.

Obi-Wan was a Jedi Knight who fought alongside Anikin Skywalker before he betrayed the Jedi. He fought many of the Empire and was responsible for what caused Darth Vader to be mostly mechanical and charred. Just like Meta Knight he had to throw in the towel as the Empire killed off all the Jedi and just like Meta Knight lived in a semi-populated area. He trained Luke in weilding a Light Saber and how to trust his instincts (similar to an event in episode 3 of the Kirby anime).

Yoda was a small alien Jedi who served as a wise elder to the Jedi. Like Obi-wan, he fled into the shadows of obscurity after the Empire's takeover however he wasn't present in the final battle against Anikin. Similar to Dakonyo, Yoda fled to a place with no sentient inhabitants other than himself AND he trained Luke in both physical and mental endurance to help him become a full Jedi.

All right, I'm still processing the information. (Gosh, I haven't seen Star Wars in ages).

I'll agree with the fact Mety is Obi-Wan because Obi-Wan was my favorite. :D
