Totally agree. With all the law stuff going on in the US, I'm not sure anymore do I dare to upload the English dubbed episodes. A DVD would be cool, though some already exist. If my information is right, they are kinda hard to find, a little too expensive (compared to how many episodes they include), and mostly because some episodes aren't on these DVDs.
I already have the Taiwanese DVD release which has 26 first episodes. Even a cheap product like that one had an option for original dub so why couldn't companies like 4KIDS do so too?

According to Wikipedia, which I know isn't the most reliable source, Funimation owns the DVD rights for Kirby: Right Back at Ya. Maybe we should all send them letters or emails asking them to release DVDs including both the dub and sub. Or maybe try contacting Nintendo about the matter. Not that I really think any company would honestly listen, but it's at least trying, right?

I agree about the whole piracy thing. I think the reason most piracy goes on is because the shows/movies/whatever is pirated is not really accessible to anyone. I'd pay anything for a box set or DVDs of Kirby, too. The only DVDs they sold mostly had the same episodes (1-9 or so) on them anyway. There were a few with some random episodes, like the Cook Kirby ones and the Ice Kirby ones, but... :\

I have no idea what an IRC channel is, but I'll look into it. It'll probably have to happen, considering how all of the other sites are shutting down (I doubt the owners want to go to prison).

And if Funimation really does own the DVD rights, I pray that the show sees the light again in the form of DVDs or anything. Even if it's just the dub or sub, I think I'd die of happiness. (Although I'd prefer having both!) ;u; I wouldn't mind e-mailing them about it. I might as well ask. It won't hurt, anyway :D

If we could buy the DVD's, I wouldn't see the need for having to upload/download them illegally anyway. :<

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS. I have all of season one in English, from episode 15 to 50, but I'm too scared to upload it, is it a good idea?

Right now I'm uploading episodes 20, 64, 67, 68 and 69. Just to you be aware.
And do you think we need the 3D subbed episode? I have it, but I wasn't sure if uploading it was convinient, since the dubbed is not so edited compared to all the others.

To be honest, I think the only thing that would happen is that the links would get taken down or something. Personally, I've never had trouble with uploads and stuff like that, so I don't know the specifics. So I'll let someone else answer that question :> Although personally, I would love to get my hands on the dub considering I love it so much xD.

Only if you uploaded them on Youtube I think you would have problems. Because I've already seem many 4Kids epsisodes taken down, which includes Kirby ones, and maybe even the user is banned. Buy I've never seem anything happen on file sharing sites, only maybe the files getting deleted. Yeah, it's up to you.

Thanks a lot! ^_^ There's still some subbed episodes remaining, being 46, 50, 56, 57, 58, 59, 61, and 63. Not much left! :D

I asked Funimation to release the rest of the series, both subbed and dubbed back in 2010, but I haven't gotten a reply back ever since that very day.

... Oops xD I completely forgot to check the post.
Well, I'll try to edit my first post via my phone tonight or tomorrow to add all of the links, and we can start with the raws as soon as I get home on Sunday night. ^^

Would it be a good idea if I upload all the subbed episodes I have (1-66, 94 and 95) to Badongo? It's another file sharing site that I use. I was just thinking about the old topic with the links from MegaUpload the other day and was wondering what was going to happen with the subs.

Thanks, you guys. I'm going to go ahead and download of them, just in case. I regretted not doing so once Megaupload went down, and I'm not going to repeat that same mistake. What do we do about those in the original thread that only had Youtube links (mostly raws)? Does anyone have those downloaded? If not and worst comes to worst, we could always just use add-ons that enable you to download videos from Youtube, so it's not that urgent.
