Well, what's wrong with an OFFICIAL topic for favoritism?
Anyways, my favorite games...
1: Kirby's Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland. The music really made the game for the NES version, while they KSS/Animé hats and beautiful backgrounds of the GBA upgrade were the icing on the cake. This was also the first foray into Copy Abilities, so we have this game to thank for Kirby's enemy-bashing powers.
2: Kirby Super Star. The gameplay was fine tuned to have Kirby use many attacks per one ability... most times. This introduced us to the hats, a few new bilities, and quite a few new moves for the Adventure abilities. The only things missing were Tornado, Hi-Jump, and Needle.
3: Kirby's Dream Land. What more can I say. it's Kirby, it's his first game. While abilities have to be able to outshine Adventure's crop to really take the cake, gameplay itself must exceed the standard set by KDL.
I don't have any least favorites... I either loved them, or didn't ever play them.
Now for Copy Abilities...
1: Tornado. Kine the Genius put it best as the closest thing to having Invincible Candy at your disposal... Being able to rip and tear through the enemies is fun!
2: Mirror. Kirby's just plain ADORABLE when using Mirror, and reflecting attacks with the guard stance is another case of near invincibility... the body double move actually MAKES Kirby invulnerable until he reforms.
3: Hi-Jump. Until I discovered Tornado, this was my op favorite ability...
4: Parasol. Cheesing off falling enemies by parking the Parasol under them is fun stuff. Super Star's version blows nearly every other power away.
5: Ice. Mind you, I HATE the cold, but there is no denying that Ice Kirby has more uses for his ability than his heated counterpart.
6: Beam. Fun and easy to use, and beating on enemies with pretty much the weakest power out there is just plain fun...
7: Cutter. I'm pretty fond of this (except K64's version), as it has medium to long range capabilities, and some strong attacks in Super Star.
8: Spark. It's powerful, protective, and I LOVE the crown. Not as versatile as Plasma, but somewhat more appealing. Sparky is cute also.
9: Fighter. Plenty of varied attacks makes for a decent power, and Fighter is about as varied as it gets.
10: Backdrop. I just love this ability. Especially the air slam.
And for my least favorites...
1: Fire. My passion for heat is about ALL that saves this mundane ability from the bottom of the list... that, and Super Star's variations.
2: Burning. Yeesh, it's actually WORSE than Fire, though more useful. With Fire, you don't have a problem of the attack abruptly ending at a slope, causing you to collide with an enemy.
3: Sleep. It's saved from the bottom because Air Ride made it useful. Would still top the list for "most adorable ability".
4: Sword. The hybrid Link/Poppy hat is nice, and it combos well, but Sword is a weak, overrated, and overused ability... and unfortunately, people seem to think swords=teh AWESOME... GEEZ!
5: Light. I think this was TOTALLY useless in KA, save for finding that one door to the switch in 4-6... which wasn't hidden, just invisible in the dark... and if you're a nosey character like me, you found it WITHOUT Light. They simply added 1-UPs to the Light rooms in NiDL, just to make people WANT to use the ability. Not a good sign.

Favorite KRR members: All of you. If I MUST be biased, then it's Ivyna J Spyder, Kine the Genius, Kindarspirit, SuperCuteKirby, Shadow Falcon, Jboy, Popper52, RMD, BabyCharmander, Tensaihime, Oreokids, Lunaa, RevorTay AlphRay, and for some reason, Aqua. But I don't like to be biased. It's not nice.
