The greatest Nintendo commercials of all though are the GBA, GameCube, and early DS commercials. They’re either hilarious and narmy, or nostalgic and depressing.

Have you seen any of the commercials for Animal Crossing GCN, Wild World, or City Folk. Gives off a nostalgic feeling that modern Animal Crossing can not.

Actually there were multiple of those ads, and I could tell there was romantic tension in them. Heh.

Yes. I remember having old Pokémon anime VHS tapes with that commercial coming on near the end.

I don’t know the exact amount unfortunately, but they were all for the GameCube game back in 2002. Wild World had a pretty stupid commercial, and City Folk had two relaxing commercials that showed the heavily promoted Wii Speak feature you could use over Wi-Fi sessions.

Yes. It had the town and Isabelle reimagined in CGI.

You can tell the Nintendo commercials got more bland as time went on. The Switch is so generic when it comes to pretty much anything. :(

They put edgy rock music over footage of what they want you to check out.

There’s no neat little applications, no eShop music, you have to pay for the online service... I only have the Switch for Smash Ultimate, Animal Crossing New Horizons, and maybe some other games.

I'm late to the party. But hey, I don't even have live TV, so I haven't seen any Nintendo commericials.
Except some of the really old Kirby ones that I watched a YT compilation of. They are HORRYFING, do not EVER watch them.

Also, really? The 3DS virtually revolves around the Mii Channel, but the Switch doesn't even use it?
Also, they make you PAY for the online service?!

Y'all remember the Kirby ad where Kirby becomes bffs with a gigantic finger?
Also, i still have cable TV, so i occasionally do see Nintendo ads. The amount of times i've heard "Pika!" before a cartoon is astounding.

At first you didn't have to pay for online, but i think they made it so you did a few months into the release?? Correct me if i'm wrong. The online is super cheap compared to Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus, though. Trust me, i own a PS4 + Switch and my dad owns an XBONE so i can vouch for that.
