this game gave me permanent emotional damage as well as trust issues and is the reason i need therapy but my god. i love it. it's fantastic.
yep, rant time. oh boy. where do i begin?
the characters are great. even the ones i don't like. the only character who i didn't care for the writing of was chiaki, she was really bland to me. (
yes, i do know that she's the traitor. she is still cardboard lmfao.)
hajime is the cutest and most lovable !@#$% dumbass known to man, as well as beinig the smartest. nekomaru is the funniest !@#$% himbo i've ever damn seen. gundham literally lives in his own !@#$% world. like he is over everyone and i love that! he's living his best life! and then there's nagito. i could go on FOREVER. on nagito. i love him. platonically of course, but i love him. he has a lot of mental and physical issues and he's also !@#$% crazy but HOLY @$#^ I JUST. he's perfect.
also he's a pretty boy 
i absolutely love the enviorment of this game. it's just. so !@#$% nice. the island u start on is just so damn pretty?? it looks really nice and i like the vibes it gives off! it makes me really happy honestly. the 2nd island has a nice waterfall and it's so prebby. also this island has a good free time that just makes me laugh so,,, yeah. island 3 has a really cool futuristic theme honestly. it's pretty awesome man. island 4 is a really nice theme park setting! sadly you're in the funhouse for almost the entire !@#$% chapter and so u don't see it much, but it looks really cool! u can tell spike chunsoft put effort into it.
i don't like island 5 that much? it's really dark and gloomy, but that does fit the chapter since it's chapter 5. (
guess who dies this chapter? nagito. guess who's on this chapter? me. yes, i've lost all motivation to play.)
this game is EXTREMELY dark. that's probably one of my favorite parts about it. i've been playing kids games for basically all my life, so to play a dark game? that's amazing. it's not even just the fact that the game is about kids killing eachother that's dark. some of the backstories are extremely dark. the worst one i can think of is probably mikan's. search it at your own risk. some of the deaths are also extremely dark, i actually had to skip the chapter 3 one since it's one of my triggers. chapter 4 would have been super gruesome and violent,
had the victim not been a robot
but yeah. before i stop going the !@#$% off i literally almost cried while typing this over hajime so uhhh here
