MOTOR

Mwahaha! The next exciting installment, which I finished just this morning! I am never touching another red colored pencil again... Anyway, this is the MOTHER1 picture, perhaps the most important of the three because the anniversary is all about the first game! Yay for red robots. That's a fading image of Queen Mary in the sky alright. I made her my own dress design and everything, but you don't get to see it here! Boo.

NEWSFLASH! I will get to uploading my MOTHER3 picture as soon as possible, I just haven't scanned it yet. Thanks for your patience!

"Shieeee!" Holy Mother, Leirin! I'm coming out of comment-retirement to congradulate you on these two beautiful traditional artworks! Though my knowledge of the MOTHER series is limited, I know good art, and this picture shows spectacular improvement. Ninten, Polyanna, Loid, and every one of the characters presented here is expertly formed with clean linework. Your proportion arrangement has also befitted. What I like best here is the coloring style and use of traditional media. Color blending and highlights give depth to the characters, setting them apart from the average 2-D form. I especially appreciate your attention to detail; sculpting the hair with individual pencil strokes and differentiating between flat and formed surfaces with out-line-less color. Very good, I look forward to MOTHER Sansei~!

Yay for Daimyo's wonderful commentary! Laughing Wow, I didn't think these drawings would be so well-received! Thank you very much. Hair is always very fun for me to color, particularly blonde hair. Just for Ana's hair there, I used yellow, light-orange, brown, gold, and some fainter streaks of red! Working on this picture reminded me of Kindar's old MOTHER website. Those were good times.
