Sir_Kibble.JPG
Sir Kibble1700 viewsThe little knight in golden armor; Sir Kibble is a force to be reconed with! Actually, a small force... his only means of attack is by utilizing his blade atop his helmet. He is famous for his cutter-boomerang ability. He is also quite tacticle: sometimes, if kirby is too far for his thrown boomerangs, Kibble will face the opposite direction, throw the cutter, and when it returns to him, will leap over it, causing the blade to collide with the out-of-range foe! Are his insides black, or is he a hollow suit?2 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 19, 2009
Scarfy.JPG
Scarfy1790 viewsThis weeks last sculpture update is Scarfy, in his normal state. I didnot make a transformed Scarfy yet. He is a round, floating creature that doesn't like to be bothered. Any touch, inhale attempt, or even from just facing away from him sometimes, will cause him to wig out and chase Kirby, with the intent on blowing him up. Unfourtionatly for Scarfy, Kirby usually escapes in time, which causes Scarfy to blow himself up. A little known fact is that when the Copy ability is used on him, he grants Crash. Anglep is his relative.1 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 16, 2009
Broom_Hatter.JPG
Broom Hatter1683 viewsHe (or she) is such a sweet enemy :) Broom hatter is a little witch who focuses all her time into cleaning the floors of Dreamland. Even appearing in the majority of Kirby's games, she really got her chance to shine in KDL3, as Kirby was able to copy her sweeping ability to become Clean Kirby. She is also one of the Dreamlanders whose body is not completely round. Just like how Waddle Dee seemingly lacks a mouth, BH's eyes are hidden as well. Blame it on Dreamland simplicity.3 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 15, 2009
Kabu.JPG
Kabu1767 viewsKabu- the great Tiki head of legend. The Easter Island statue of divinity. The wierd spinning rock that gets in your way (most likely). Kabu is actually a wooden idol, hence why he does not offer the stone ability. They may not be the megalith prophet that the anime made them out to be, but they do seem to have some sort of mystical power, as they are able to float and disappear at will. Originally from the Float Islands, they reoccur in many Kirby games. Dekabu is the largest variety. Grumples is his relative.6 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 14, 2009
Cappy.JPG
Cappy1664 viewsA walking mushroom with cap and stem. They flail their arms about like nobody's business and always have that blank expression on their faces. The animated series really gave them a bad rap- taking away their caps, and making them the Toads of Dreamland. They seem to be based on Haniwa clay figures of ancient Japan. If Kirby is without ability, he must first inhale the Cappy's top, then either swallow it or use it as ammunition against the foe's defenceless body. Blopper is his relative. You cant help but love this guy.2 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 12, 2009
Bronto_Burt.JPG
Bronto Burt1846 viewsBronto Burt has a big name for such a small creature! He is one of the flying enemies Kirby regularly encounters on his travels. He is a simple foe with a simple shape- very easy to make, as is only 3 spheres, fly-wings, and a face. BBs fly through the air, walk along the ground and take off, or home in on Kirby for attack. Their relative is Koozer. For all flying/floating creatures, I use wire formed to a triangle shape, to support their mass. It gives a more authentic feel, I believe.3 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 09, 2009
Gordo.JPG
Gordo1959 viewsThe indestructable spike ball of death! He does more damage than any other regular enemy; in fact, he is more of an obsticle than a foe. King Dedede throws them as a special attack in Brawl, though how he is able to conceil them in the first place is a mystery. Gordo has been in most Kirby games, where he is feared and avoided. In the hardest boss modes, bosses even release Gordos to attack Kirby! I Know he has 8 spikes instead of only 6, but I was just careless, I guess.4 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 08, 2009
Waddle_Doo.JPG
Waddle Doo2033 viewsThe guy with a huge eye and is cousen to Waddle Dee. He holds the Beam ability and can also become a helper character. In his first appearence, KDL, he and all other enemies offered Kirby no abilities. With that in mind, You will see that I am presenting these sculptures in order of game cronology. Also, again please excuse the quality of the first couple of sculptures; as it gets later in the year, You will see the improvement. Dispite his popularity, Waddle Doo is only featured in a handful of games.7 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 07, 2009
Waddle_Dee.JPG
Waddle Dee2109 viewsIt is he who has appeared in every Kirby game to date! Waddle Dee seems to be the most recognizable regular enemy in the series, perhaps the most numerous creature on Popstar. Their lives consist of little more than simply strolling around, bumping into things, and being lazy. They have also been known to carry Parasols and Spears offencivly, and even help Kirby on occasion. Many serve as Dedede's troups, though just as many seem to roam the land freely. The are the simplist of creatures; That is why they are so prolific!4 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 06, 2009
Kirby.JPG
Kirby2132 viewsThis is the basic Kirby sculpture in my collection. There is really nothing special about this guy, other than being the very first figure in the series. That said, I have made many other Kirbys in my lifetime! I started building the 3D Daimyo Dojo in 2007, and now have an entire cabinate filled with Dreamland's finest sculptures! Please excuse the minor flaws in the first couple of pieces, as I was making many sculptures a day and did not allow myself time to make everything perfect. Stay tuned tomorrow.2 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 05, 2009
SK~_King_Dedede.JPG
Samurai Kirby!~ King Dedede2512 viewsDedede is the Daimyo of the 'Samurai Kirby' profecture! Seriously though, he is my avatar, if noone has noticed yet. I believe I have explained all there is about him in my 2D work, "Dedede Daimyo", so seek that out if you want to know about his outfit and such. Here, he is in a mie pose, seen in Kabuki theator; with his mallot behind him and his left arm outstreched. This sculpture is reminissent of another of my 2D works, "Dedede-Daimyo of KRR". This style is based off of the minigame in K:NiDL.10 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 02, 2009
SK~_Meta_Knight.JPG
Samurai Kirby!~ Meta Knight2702 viewsMeta Knight, or more accuratly, Meta Samurai, is the toughest of all challengers in this minigame. He has such skill and is so quick, that he is able to strike within a fraction of a fraction of a second from when the exclamation sounds. His weapon of chioce is a broad katana. He wears his mask with a slice over the eye, cape and collar, armored sholderpads, straw sandles, and his [hair!?] up in chongmange style. However, in his first appearence, Samurai MK was only scantily clad.6 commentsDedede-DaimyoJan 02, 2009
