The Famous Kirby and His Supporting Cast!4380 viewsThankyou Rainbow Resort and all fans of my work for your continuous support and high ratings!! Behold my skills in a medium aside from colored pencil! This extraordinary artwork is real and hand-painted in Watercolor and outlined in Carbon Black India Ink. Featured are Kirby, his animal friends and helpers, and the best known of his adversaries, before Planet Popstar. A handy way to make watercolor look this good is to first color with a felt tip marker, then blend it out with a fine, water-dipped brush.29 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Return_of_Daimyo_001.jpg
The Return of Daimyo2349 viewsI have returned (briefly) with 2 artworks that display my prowess in traditional watercolor and ink painting. If youall like this medium better, I might switch to it in upcoming pictures. Anyway, the purpose of this is to promote my infamous "Kirby Super Star Ultra Emaki", which is a long (100") Japanese picture-scroll, debuting at the end of the year. This Dedede appears in the Samurai Kirby section near the end of the scroll; the whole thing features all 16 subgames in KSSU. Anticipate the greatness...8 commentsDedede-Daimyo

Ukiyo-e_Dedede_001.jpg
Ukiyo-e Dedede2958 viewsDedede is dressed like Horibe Yasubei, a character in the Japanese classic play, 47 Ronin (Chūshingura). Ukiyo-e are woodblock prints, literally "Pictures of the Floating World"; most with a major focus on actors and Kabuki theator. This picture is based on Toyokuni Utagawa III's work, entitled "Kanadehon Chūshingura", which are three paintings showing the first kabuki production of 47 Ronin. (I saw the giant hammer 'Ōtsuchi', and just had to do this :) Mine is done in markers and ink. The original print can be found here.14 commentsDedede-Daimyo

Dedede-Daimyo 3D1726 viewsThis is my first uploaded non-traditional/ computer-made artwork! Made with the 3D modeling program, Milkshape 3D- used to design the fangame, Kirby Cosmic Chaos. The program is free to try, if anyone is interested. The character who is totally taken from the Samurai Kirby minigame, Dedede-Daimyo is my stand-in for online stuffs. His robe-trim is reminiscent of the curtain of the Kabooki theater. His mallot, a kine, is used for pounding rice. Another of my artworks adornes his back.10 commentsDedede-Daimyo

Dedede-Daimyo 3D #21722 viewsWoah! Sorry everyone! My internet expired 2 days ago, and I was unable to upload daily, but now I'm back! Here is my characature again, done in the Milkshape 3D modeling program, in different poses than before. Displayed are the wireframes, polygon figure, and a hammer strike motion. On a side note, I am helping work on Leirin's: Kirby's Greatest Hits Super Songbook, this time making a picturescroll of Kirby's Dreamland 3! I will upload both my pics and lyrics when I have finished.13 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Dreamland_Group.JPG
Dreamland Group (1st Series)2039 viewsYou all have waited patiently, and now you can see the end product of the first group of sculptures I've uploaded here! Every character that I have made originating from Kirby's Dream Land is here. This four-panel picture in arranged as follows: 1) Boss Rush, 2) Small group, 3+4) Large group (from two diff. angles). I plan to upload a compilation pic such as this, after every section or so. I also wanted to include a background, but it was hard enough just to arrange all these figures properly, and I do not have the fancy programs to do such.3 commentsDedede-Daimyo

Photo SHOOT! (Bonus 1)2251 viewsI am very proud of how this one turned out =D ...There is no need to go into detail on this one, I will let you all interpret it for yourselves. I'll probably do another similar to this, after the Kirby's Adventure series of figures is all uploaded. (It makes a great wallpaper ^_^) See you on the flipside, fans!10 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Dedede_DaiOndo_001.jpg
Dedede Dai-Ondo3514 viewsI shall now post this, because the site it was on seems to be down right now. An entry into Leirin's (AnimeKittyCafe in the gallery) Kirby's Greatest Hits Super Songbook (KGHSS). It is a Japanese festival, with Dedede and his followers participating in a great Ondo song and dance. I also made lyrics to Dedede's Theme, in traditional Ondo style, to be uploaded to the KGHSS in the future. I encourage those who are interested in this project to participate; the rules and sign up can be found here [well, that's weird, I can't find that pic either... This message is sure to change when new development occures]. So, this is done in my watercolor style, with india ink outline. I think that this pic deserves alot of attention because I put much detail into it and worked on it for a surprisingly long time. With this out of the way, I will be taking off this week, working hard on new art that many will enjoy. So, without further humiliation, Sayonara.13 commentsDedede-Daimyo
Wood_Knight_001.jpg
Wood Knight3087 viewsWood Knight is my creation for the Round Knights of the Table “Interactive Fandom”, which took nearly a month to completely render-- planning, picture, and prose! Anyway, I’d thank you for actually reading what I have written, as it contains a great amount of knowledge and thought put into it.
Wood Knight draws especially from Chinese history and philosophy, and if you had not figured it out by now, is a Kirbyfied version of the “Terracotta Warriors”, which are thousands of realistic, life-size clay statues unearthed from the tomb of China’s first Emperor. This is part of the reason he is sometimes referred to as Terracotta Knight. The clothing he wears is reminiscent of that worn by Qin Dynasty soldiers, with plated metal or leather armor instead of clay. His wood staff takes the shape of a horse head because horses and equestrian skills were very important to China’s history. Also, all the original Terracotta Warriors’ weapons had deteriorated from age, but the large horse statues in the tomb had survived. The sonar on top of his helm is based on a type of hairstyle generals in the Qin army wore. Terracotta’s blindness comes from being buried under ground for so long; his great age being the reason for his one-hit-K-O lifespan.
Also rooted in Wood Knight’s being is thought from the Chinese oracle, I Ching; in particular, the Hexagram of “Pushing Upward”. Its basis is that of wood springing forth from the earth (I.E.; the growing wood staff extends from Terracotta> ‘baked earth’). In addition, I believe this fortune applies to me as well, as the underlying meaning states: a man will reach a high position if he is steadfast in his actions and puts in the work for success! Anyway, feast your eyes on my hard-made comic! It follows the description on the IF page.
