Grill.JPG
Grill1723 viewsBehold, the belated big boss of Kirby Super Star Stacker. Grill is a secret character of the game (though she appears on the box-art) and will only challenge Kirby to a match after he successfully bests all previous contenders without failing once. She is a master at Star Stacking (what that means, I'm not sure) and also a witch, as evidenced by her humongous hat that also has a star block at its end. She carries a flying broom which she uses to whack people and to ride through space, apparently. Grill has three onion underlings that trail behind her, but are generally useless; their emotions are blissful, malicious, and depressed, much like the four Tsujigiri of Goemon fame. Grill, too, is said to be an onion, with a green tuft of hair/ sprout; grilled onions, yum. Very little is known about her, and it looks like it will stay that way unless Star Stacker gets remade a third time, or she ever enters the main series of games (don't hold your breath for either of these).
>>Stay tuned this holiday season, KRR, for my Ultimate Kirby Super Star Sculpture Series, and much more every eight days, starting on the 8th! DONOTMISSIT~!>>

Drawcia.jpg
Drawcia2263 viewsDrawcia Sorceress is the main antagonist of the modern Kirby game, Canvas Curse. She was originally just a painting, but one day got hold of the Power Paintbrush, and began to exact her revenge on the land. She turned all of Dream Land into a painting, and when Kirby tried to confront her, she removed him of his arms and legs! Drawcia then goes into hiding, painting enemies and bosses, such as Paint Roller, Kracko, and Dedede in a mine-cart, in order to halt Kirby's progress with the help of the Paintbrush. Kirby again meets with Drawcia in Her World, and duel-layered, challenging battle ensues. Another form of her's seen in this climactic moment is Drawcia Soul, a monstrous globe of paint, as well as the little Mini-Drawcias and Paramatters. Once Kirby has sealed the Witch in a painting, Dream Land returns to normal, and everyone grows their appendages back, I guess. This is Witch-Week on the 3D Daimyo Dojo.6 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Tick.JPG
Tick1682 viewsTick is very bipolar. At one moment, the little critter can be simply sitting in place, eyes all watery, acting sweet and innocent, and a split second later, he can be marching the war path, just looking for someone to skewer with his extending spike. His mood shifts actually spike according to Kirby's position on screen, in relation to the mean blob. Tick is completly void of detail except for his schitzophrenic face and his red uni-horn. Lacking anything more to say about him, let's ponder this for a second... Tick: the misbegotten hybrid of Ometon and Diddgery? LOL5 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Bio_Spark_Ultra.JPG
Bio Spark Ultra1937 viewsAnother Ultra Kirby Super Star Sculpture. My first time sculpting the mini ninja. His model turned out looking close to Minon's 3D Biospark model for Kirby Cosmic Chaos. It is, after all, the only logical way this predominantly 2D character could asthetically translate. The 3D sculpter must keep in mind that his work should be appealing if viewed from all possible angles. And (if anyone cares for reading this) Know that I will be in the next mailbag without a doubt. Anticipate the greatness of my Mailbag Manga, and watch as I reclaim the drawing-thunder from Kirazy (who is a great guy and I hope will take this lightheartedly)~!10 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Dynablade.jpg
Dyna Blade2271 viewsThe biggest figure in my entire set, and the final (proper) Super Star Sculpture! First off, that frontal view picture is distorted, somehow; her wing span is much longer than it appears. Second, I used the 'bad clay' on this one (opposed to the 'good clay' I'd used on the enemies and minibosses) so excuse any design flaws. Dyna Blade makes her entrance in KSS's second sub-game. She steals Dreamland's crops to feed her hungry chicks. Kirby resolves this and flies off into the sunset with the mother and her matured babies. A second appearance in the game has DB assisting Kirby, after his Warpstar was blown out of the sky by the Halberd. She returns in the anime as a grossly-altered, ugly 3-D version of her former self. Later, she appears in Kirby Air Ride as an unstoppable monster in City Trial. I never understood why they called her “White Winged” Dyna Blade, because her wings are ironically rainbow-ish in color (I took advantage of this and lazily did the back of her wings white XP). So as not to break her fragile toes/legs/feet, I hot-glued a clear, plastic CD-holder to her for a base. I thank everyone for viewing my artwork~!3 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Wheelie.jpg
Wheelie1872 viewsPartner for the Wheel Ability and ground-bound vehicle in the Air Ride spinoff, the Wheelie Bike is a beloved character. First appearing as the average 'Wheelie' in adventure, designed as a smaller version of Grand Wheelie, this guy was spruced up for Kirby Super Star, with added red and gold metal-plating, chrome tailpipes, and even a little seat and handlebars on top! All this excess is exclusive to the Helper version of Wheelie; Kirby can jump on his pal to become the Wheelie Rider, and take control to fire stars, and jump while attacking. This combo is essential for the climax of the Revenge of Meta Knight subgame. It seems like Wheelie always ends up as the beast (machine?) of burden for the other, more versatile characters, but he doesn't seem to mind-- it is what he does best!2 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Kirby_s_Friends-_Miniboss_Tower-_Boss_Butch.jpg
Kirby's Friends / Miniboss Tower / Boss Butch2226 viewsA vertical triptych of photographs. First is an arrangement of sculptures parodying the famous title screen pic of Kirby's Dreamland 3, also seen on Kindar's humongous front-page post. Second is a literal tower of Mini/Mid/Sub Bosses: 3 on the left appear only (in this series) in KDL2, 3 on the right appear only in KDL3, and 3 in the center appear in both games. Third and finally is the ever-present boss-battle montage pic. Much like the series finally 'Photo Shoot', except now Dedede gets his turn at the 'camera'. Thanks, everyone, for viewing my effort-full Kirby clay sculptures! As the staff-roll of Kirby's Super Star says, “And More~!” Look for much more of my artwork here in the future :)3 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

IceDragon.JPG
Ice Dragon1922 viewsThe big bosses continue~! Ice Dragon is the refrigerated reptilian ruler of iceberg island in Kirby's Dreamland 2. Despite his heavy appearance, ID is able to hover in battle by rapidly spinning his tail. When he lands, the shock-wave causes sharp icicles to fall from his cave's ceiling. Also by spinning his tail, ID can whiz toward Kirby, while he releases an icy fire from his gaping maw. Another use for his tail, Ice Dragon can send a frozen stalagmite along the floor in Kirby's direction. This guy was somehow popular enough to cameo in KDL3 as one of Ado's killer paintings, again in K64 as one of Adeleine's attack arts, and at least twice during the entire run of the anime. This guy gets around! (with the aid of his tail) :D6 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Boss_Rush--_Miniboss_Tower.JPG
Boss Rush / Miniboss Tower2661 viewsAll the bosses (excluding Nightmare Orb) and minibosses from the original Kirby's Adventure. This finishes up the second set of sculptures seen so-far. You can compare sizes here, seeing as Kirby (and Meta Knight) are about and inch-and-a-half tall. 5 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Bugzzy.JPG
Bugzzy2175 viewsMy favorite helper and all-around great grappler, the big-bug himself, Buggzy! This miniboss can backdrop and suplex like nobody's business. He is a stag-beetle that uses his mandables like a pair of forklift tongs. He can lunge forward at greaf speed, hover in the air with his wings, and even give birth to mini-beetles that act as homing missiles to the enemy. Long live Bugzzy. >> Sorry, I have failed you KRR. Only two sculpture updates this week? Reallife has been a monster this week. Much more next week, I assure you ;>9 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

YuYuKi(rby)_001.jpg
YuYuKi(rby)3239 viewsFinally, a new 2-D artwork of mine, after so long of time! This picture combines the most popular characters of Kirby with the classic Japan-exclusive game YuYuKi. In the past, main characters Chao and Goku have made cameos in Dreamlands 2 and 3, possibly due to Shimomura's involvement. YuYuKi is a text-based adventure game for the Famicom Disk System, based on the classic Chinese story of “Journey to the West”. Here, Kirby, King Dedede, Waddle Dee, and Meta Knight respectively portray characters Goku, Sanzo, Hakkai, and Gojo on their quest across the land, to enlightenment. I would have included Ribbon as Chao, but I wanted to save space at the top for other purposes relating to my long-awaited Mailbag Manga. Unfortunately, due to the insane amount of work I have been putting into it, the grand-epic one-shot story wont be done for at least one more week. With that said, I just wanted everyone to know that I am not dead, and my regular art-output of essence pics and painted-sculptures will resume once this ordeal has passed. As always, anticipate the greatness, and keep keeping-on KRR~!13 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555
