Boboo.JPG
Boboo1672 viewsA walking fireball? How original! This particular figure is of the miniboss Boboo, and not the smaller version known as Bobo. However, both are nearly identical, so unless there was some way to compare size, this figure could easily fool you. In battle, Boboo charges at Kirby, parallel to the ground, untill he collides with a wall. Debris is then scattered, which Kirby can inhail for ammunition. This simplistic midboss is the creation of Shinichi Shimomura, solely appearing in Kirby's Dreamland 3. I did not make his cousin, Efrite, from KDL2, and probably never will, unless I get overwhelming responce to do so...5 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Eleel.JPG
Elieel1656 viewsUnagi Eli Eel is his full name. This slimy sucker first "poped up" in KDL2 as a regular enemy. Similar to a Piranha-plant, he would emerge from pipes and try to catch Kirby off-guard. Elieel later showed up in KDL3 as a friend. If Kirby could pass his minigame, he would reward with a valuable Heart-Star. Elieel ducks into a row of pots, along with an assorted veriety of Gordos, and the player must determine which pot houses Elieel in the end. Kindof like that gambling game of cups-and-coin. His cozy cove is Ripplefield.3 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

ARIGATOU, Daimyo!709 viewsPlease forgive my up-loading of its avatar.
(She is one of the old original characters of not avatar but me to be precise. )

Dedede-Daimyo dressed a beautiful kimono to her...!
Daimyo, Thank you so much. I am very lucky beggar~! XD

Pompon of the pink color should be a position of the navel.
But, I wanted to show it. Therefore, I drew like this~.
The background used a free texture to which Japanese paper was scanned.

Poppy_Bro__Sr_.JPG
Poppy Bros. Sr.2275 viewsThe first Miniboss! Poppy Bros. Sr. is an outstanding foe in Dreamland. He can make and toss explosives just like Bomberman, except he is much more nimble! His fame began in KDL, then in KA he offered the crash ability when defeted, then in KSS Poppy Sr. returned with the introduction of the bomb ability. Hopefully, HAL will continue the Poppy Bros. and not ax them for replacements in future games, as the trend appears. This figure is roughly 4 inches tall. Next week: The Bosses!12 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Glunk.JPG
Glunk1829 viewsThe sea aneamone, Glunk. Glunk Glunk... stays in one spot, and never moves. Glunk Glunk... sticks to either ceilings or floors. Glunk Glunk... shoots sparks out his top every once in a while. Glunk. [Applause] Thankyou, thankyou! Ahem! Here, you can see the top hole of Glunk and the bottom of him, both rarely seen, as he is basically a 2-Dimentional character (in more ways than one). He does not really try to stop Kirby; he is just content filter-feeding, mostly. He can also live either in or out of water, if I remember correctly.4 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Squishy.JPG
Squishy1940 viewsSquishy is a lonely little squid, with very average abilities. He is like Blipper in many respects, but not as good a swimmer as he. He is one of the only enemys who are effective both on land and in water. One of the most prominent guys in the Kirby series. His relative is Flotzo. By the way, whatever became of "Squid-hat Month"? Thankyou site staff (wherever you may be) for the front page dedication! One last Squishy notice: in some cultures, he is praised, due to his 'unique' shape, as a sign of 'long life' ;)9 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

TAC.jpg
T.A.C.1828 viewsTAC is the most versatile helper in Kirby Super Star. He is a little, literal cat-burglar. His yellow body is tightly wrapped in a ninja-like cloak, tied under the nose, like traditional robbers of Japan; he also carries a sack with signature vine pattern- another thief motif. TACs can be seen aiding in Dedede's pilferage of Dreamland in the first Subgame, and later on their very own (secret) planet in the Milky Way Wishes Galaxy. They have the unique ability to change into any of the other helper species in the game, and are the only enemies that offer the Copy Ability. Other TAC specialties are the Cat Magnum super-punch and the unique ability to blend into the background to completely avoid damage. Made a small cameo in Kirby Air Ride's City Trial mode. Of course, T.A.C. is a favorite of mine, for obvious reasons ;)3 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Dedede-Daimyo_of_Mailbag_Force_001.jpg
Dedede-Daimyo of Mailbag-Force3287 viewsHalf-a-month is too long for me to go without posting art in the gallery for fans of KRR. So, here I present a small token of my selfishness, narcissism, and vanity-- Ok, not really, but close~! As many of you may have known, I am now a semi-regular member of our glorious site's bi-weekly mailbag. Issue 69 featured the start of an awesome comic, known simply as "Mailbag Force". I've thought of continuing the series with each session I partake in, furthering my work-load, yet expanding the comic to a much-looked-forward-to feature. Also, I would perhaps like to work with others on this project...
Anyway, here is my character sheet, displaying the Daimyo's updated design and abilities. >Slash Pen like sword! >Super Daimyo Jump gets the heck outta there! >Kine Hammer pounds foes like mochi! >Kakegoe Inhale strength of lungs! >Chopsticks catch any/everything! >Break for tea~~ >Flap Fans to Flutter! >Power of the immense Ink-Brush! >Frantically build the Terracotta Army! >Last but not least, Essence Ondo Odori~! Primary Colors are sacred. Materials used: India Ink, Sakura Pen, Colored Pencils, Fibracolor Markers, Crappy Crayons.

SweetStuff.JPG
Sweet Stuff1747 viewsLots of Sweet Stuff going around these days... The big boss of Ripplefield in Dreamland 2 is an insane anglerfish with an electrified lure. Like Acro, Sweet stuff is battled under water. Also like the orca, this anglerfish is indeed FEMALE! Yes, the female species of this fish is actually quite large, while the male is less than 100 times smaller in comparison. Anyhoo, Sweet Stuff is able to materialize Tinsel, the infamous cycloptic starfish, along with Gordo and Squishy to run in to Kirby. However, Kirby can send them, save Gordo, right back at 'er with a blast of his bubble gun. She can also fire damaging vibrations and electro-balls from her glowing lure; these cannot be utilized and must be avoided. As with all underwater levels, the aid of Kine levels the playing field. She cameos in KDL3 as part of Ado's painted boss battle. And now, a looming Darkness approaches...7 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Ado.JPG
Ado2214 viewsThe boss of Cloudy Park in KDL3; Ado is a master painter who can bring a picture to life, right off the cloud-canvas! In the art-battle, Ado will paint a simplified form of one of KDL2's bosses in this order: Ice Dragon, Sweet Stuff, Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright, and Kracko. Each one is only a fraction as hard as it's real world self; all four of the bosses can be dealt with fairly quickly. Finally, Ado jumps out from hiding, and begins to run around the stage, swiping at Kirby with a brush as a last resort attack. Contact is all that is needed at this point to sent the painter flying. Ado is either a 'relative' of Adeleine, from Kirby 64, or they are the same person.
>XionGaTaosenai mentioned in 'Gurus that Ado might be based off of a Chinese legend, which got my gears a-turnin'. I could not recall a single painter of Ado's magnitude in Chinese mythology, however, there is a very famous group of Taoist sages called The Eight Immortals, of which I am very familiar with. (Here's a story! Gather 'round, kiddies!) ~The leader of the eight, Lu Tung-Pin, was alone at a tavern late one night, drinking much rice-wine, and living-up the moment, like we all wish to be. The tavern's owner was growing suspicious of Lu, since he had been there all night, and consumed much of the best, and most expensive, stuff the establishment had to offer; and that he showed no signs of stopping, or paying! When confronted about the bill, Lu simply said that he had no money to pay his tab. At this, the owner nearly flew into an outrage, but Lu stood up and walked over to the plain wall of the tavern. The bar-tender watched on as in only a few minutes, Lu was able to paint a large and incredibly realistic looking crane on the tavern's wall. Lu then explained to the owner that people will come from far and wide to view the beautiful bird on his wall, and the increased business will repay his extensive bill. Apprehensive at first, the tavern's owner agreed to this and Lu was free to go. By the next day, the tavern was filled with people who had come to gaze at the painted crane, and purchase a drink or two at the bar. In no time, the bill Lu had accumulated that night was paid off, and the tavern now had regular customers. Suddenly, the realistic crane painting flashed, and off the bird came from the wall. The Lu's crane flew away, yet the bar had continued to generate good profit. ~Coincidentally, another of The Eight Immortals, Lan Tsai-Ho, had an ambiguous gender. No one could tell if he was male or female, from the way he dressed and wore his hair. He was a young boy/ girl who liked to sing and dance. ~Further delving into this recalls the 'historical' eight immortals of China, who were an actual group of painters and poets revered for their artistic and literary superiority. Chinese Guru-man, out :)

Pon_Con.JPG
Pon & Con1681 viewsAnother double-team update so soon? This July 4th, I present Pon and Con, in all their furry-fury. They attack in the same manner as Nruff & Nelly, running across the platformed stage with their children (mini Pons & Cons) trailing. Pon is the Tanuki; his name comes from the sound of the mythical creatures drumming on their stomachs. Con is the Kitsune; his name derives from the call foxes are said to yelp. Some would think that these two are cruel to send their children out to battle along with them, but that is not the case. P&C are single parents who both care for their litters the best they can. They put themselves in harms way so their children may survive... Some of my most favored bosses.3 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555

Acro.JPG
Acro1716 viewsOrca Acro is both a huge boss and sculpture! She is the boss of Ripple Field in KDL3, and somehow reappears on Aqua Star in K64, making her a reoccuring boss. In #3, Kirby first battles her above water, on a rock bridge. After Acro has been weakened, both will fall into the ocean below, where Kirby must swim-dodge various debris the whale spits out at him. Blowing air bubbles to knock back falling rocks and mini whales is the best way to deal with Acro, if one does not have an ability. Kine really helps this battle go swimmingly. In #64, Acro returns acting similarly, except this time, her tackles and projectiles are more "torpedo like". This sculpture is made from air-drying bulk-clay, compared to smaller pieces, made from Super Sculpey Poly-Clay. It is said she is a relative of the "Flying Whale"...5 commentsDedede-Daimyo55555
