There are quite a few different food items that Kirby can stumble upon, which not only increases his health by one point when he eats them - but makes him very happy!

While Kirby loves most foods, he does have a favorite - the Maxim Tomato! A healthy, fresh and ripe tomato with an M on it will fully restore Kirby's health!

Throughout the planets, Kirby will find stars that he can collect. Collecting 30 stars will give Kirby an extra life, with the yellow stars being worth 1, the green 3, the red 5 and the blue star (appears after you collect a shard) for a 10 stars.
 

This simple charm proves to be very useful - when Kirby collects these they grant him an extra life!
 

When Kirby comes across these colorful lollypops, they give him the get up and go he needs by allowing him to plow through enemies unharmed.
 

These crystal shards are important in Kirby's quest. There are three hidden in each level to collect, with the ultimate goal being able to put all the pieces back together.
 

This rare card can only be found at the end of the level game. Collecting this will allow you to access the Enemy Cards screen under Options at the Main Menu. Have you collected them all?
