All mini-games can be played by
four players, and upon beating each level of difficulty you can
open more challenging levels. Each game has four levels: Easy,
Normal, Hard, and Intense. Play against your friends or the
computer intelligence and see how you do!
100-Yard Hop
Controls: B - Hop 1 space, A - Hop 2
spaces
All players start on a
track, in their own lane. The goal is to hop from circle
to circle while dodging obstacles and finishing faster
than your opponents. Depending on what level you play,
there are puddles, lily pads, frogs, fish, bog spaces, and
even turtle shells to help or break you.
To keep track of your
progress, there are markers along the way: 20, 40, 60. Try
to concentrate more on your progress and less on the
others, and just keep practicing. It is a game of reflexes
and response timing, but eventually your opponents will
slip up!
Bumper Crop Bump
Controls: A - Bump, Left and Right Direction Pad
- Move
In this game, greedy is
the mind frame! You have about one minute to collect as
much fruit falling from the trees as you can. Don't feel
bad knocking into your opponents, as they won't think
twice about knocking you out of the way to pick up a pear,
heart, or orange. Near the end of the game, the tree will
shake and a downpour of fruit will give you one last
change to fill that basket up!
Watch out for flashing
fruit! Looks appealing, but once it hits your basket it
will blow up and you'll loose all your collected fruit and
have to start again!
Checker Board Chase
Controls: A - Drop blocks, Directional Pad -
Move left, right, up, down
This bomber man style
game is great to play with other people, but it is just as
fun with the computer. You'll start on a big board, but
you'll quickly find it is only big enough for one player!
Pressing A will send your particular player color swooping
down the isle, coloring the blocks and dropping down to
the ground below. Should one of your opponents be on these
blocks, they'll fall with it! Watch out though, as your
opponents are looking to ground you just as fast! As the
game progresses, the board will periodically drop outer
blocks and the board can become alarmingly small. Fall the
least amount of times to be the master checker board
chaser!
