Hello, Kirby Warrior here. This is where I shall translate the Japan-only
title known as "KAABII no kirakira KIZZU," or as it would have been, "Kirby's Super Star Stacker."
This game's North American release was canceled because of the Super Nintendo's quick death, compaired
to it's life in Japan. Had it not been for the Nintendo 64's popularity, which killed off the Super
Nintendo, we might have gotten to see this title. Translating a ROM of the game is quite a difficult
task to do, so instead, I'll just take pictures, and replace the Japanese text, with English text, 'mmkay?
This is the screen you get when you first press Start on
the Title Screen. You see that you have four choices, with a small explaination from Kirby.
This is the name entry menu. You'll see that you get three choices here. This is kinda like a file creation
section, so you can save data. When you create a new name, you can type it in Hiragana, Katakana, and even,
English! (Though it can only hold four letters.) When you choose to delete a name, and you select the name
you want to get rid of, you'll see this...
..which'll let you confirm your selection. Once you are finnished, your name should appear in the name select
screen.
This picture doesn't have a name in it, but you can still play
by selecting "Guest." Note that in the actual game, the word "Guest" will be in Japanese letters, not English.
When you play was guest, no data will be saved!
When you select "Game" in the main menu, you'll be sent to the game menu!
Every selection will have you choose your name, and Challenge, Round Clear, and Time Attack will also have you choose
from an ever-so-obvious difficulty menu. If you choose Story, and a name that has played it already, then you'll see this...
It's obvious what they both do, but when you choose "New," it will ask you to confirm your deletion of old Story data...
If you have beaten the story mode completely, and decide to do a new game, you'll also get this option...
Well, I hope my translations have helped you. By now, you should be able to get around the menus without much
problems. Now, I translated the Story Mode with the best of my abilities, and here it is!
A sparkling star flies across over Popstar at great speeds.
As the star steadily flies over Popstar in the night sky...
...down below, Dedede watches, and gets an idea for a prank.
King Dedede attacks Mr.Star with his cannon!
Perfect hit!
Mr.Star no longer glistens, as his health drops.
He cries as his broken pieces scatter across the island below.
It's Kirby! Mr.Star falls below, and if his star pieces aren't collected, he won't be able to continue his journey. Kirby agrees to help find his broken pieces.
A star piece!
Yah, yah, yaaah!
Let's have a contest to see who can have it!
Uhh...I...lost...it... -Got a star piece back-
Ah, Mr. Star!
I want more, bigger, star pieces!
Nuuu...
Uhh...uhhn... -Got another star piece back-
There's a star piece!
I found this piece myself!
It broke off of me, and I need it back...
Hohohoho...do as you wish...
Yaa!
Toh!
Taa!
Hi-ya!
I have been training to fight for this star piece!
My training wasn't enough...
Huhum hum hum.
AH!! That's crazy!!
Don't feed it to someone!!!
Huhuhuhum hum hum hum.
Ahhh! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!
Kirby!
!!!
The star piece is here...
... -Got another star piece. You almost have them all!-
Good job in getting here, Kirby!
Someone as skilled as I, shot down the star pieces to keep them down for me!
They are my pieces! Return the one you have...
Why must this happen to me!?
Hooray!
Yay! That's the last piece!
Thank you, Kirby!
Bye-bye
Hehehee!
Are you truly so strong?
Kid, we are good enough to fry you!
Heh...you really are strong...I give in... THE END
