Poor Dedede has been downgraded- he's the
first and maybe easiest boss Kirby face! Kirby fight Dedede in
his castle throne room. Pay no attention to the transporter
in the background. No demon beasts or anything else will
come out, it's just for decoration!
Dedede's moves are the same as they've
always been. He'll try to hit Kirby with his hammer, float
through the air, swallow Kirby or stomp on Kirby. He does have a
new move where he'll summon a Waddle Dee though. Inhale the
stars he produces and spit them back at him, or just use an
ability. He shouldn't even be able to hit Kirby.
Prism Plains
Mrs. Moley
Mrs. Moley seems to be angry at
Kirby for
what Kirby did to her hubby back in 'Amazing Mirror'!
Thankfully she's no more of a threat than he was. She'll
pop out of one of four holes, two in the foreground and two in the back.
In the front she'll throw rocks and things at Kirby and
Kirby
can attack her. When she goes into the background Kirby can't reach her.
She'll sometimes leap into the air and land in the foreground. Avoid her
shadow so Kirby aren't crushed.
The best ability against her is Tornado. But then
Tornado is the best ability against any boss. It's very, very broken, and
makes it too easy! But if Kirby ever have trouble... just use Tornado.
Nature Navel (Nature Notch)
Mecha Kracko
Mecha Kracko is a cloud-making robot piloted by Doc. It's no different
than the normal Kracko though. The biggest risk in this stage is falling
through the clouds beneath Kirby!
Mecha Kracko has
two stages with two life bars. The first stage is simple. He'll just bob
up and down or pass slowly across the ground. He'll release Waddle Dees,
Waddle Doos and Starmen that can be spit back at him.
In his second stage, first he'll destroy the cloud ground
beneath Kirby and re-create it, only with gaps in it. He'll continue
releasing enemies to be inhaled, only now he'll fire electric bolts down
on Kirby. The gaps in the clouds make it a bit more difficult to avoid him
if Kirby're trying to spit a star at him, so something like Hi-Jump or
Tornado is useful.
Creamy Clouds (Cushy Clouds)
Yadogaine
Another Doc powered mecha, Yadogaine is big, fast, and powerful. It
constantly moves right the right, and Kirby must keep moving away from it.
Rocks and Gordos will fall from the ceiling constantly.
It will use its clawed arms to move forward quickly,
tossing bricks in Kirby's way. It also shoots fireballs along the ground
that Kirby'll need to jump over. After its health gets low, the arms will
break and its movement slows. Then the head will be destroyed, leaving it
more or less defenseless.
Jam Jungle
Bohboh
Some sort of owl/racoon/tanuki creature that lives in volcanic caves. How
bizarre. Bohboh can be a tough opponent, if only because most of the
ground in the room is lava.
Bohboh will fly slowly
back and forth dropping fireballs, or quickly dash forward (you'll known
when because he'll screech first) and grab Kirby in his talons, then
tossing him into the lava. Other times he'll just fly back and forth
quickly trying to hit Kirby.
If he dashes and misses he'll crash into the ground,
causing rocks and enemies to fall. He'll be dazed for a moment, so it's a
good chance to attack.
Voice Volcano (Vocal Volcano)
Dorocche (Daroach)
Dorocche can be tricky to beat without an ability. He will constantly
teleport around and has three attacks. He'll use the Triple Star weapon to
fire three stars that will bounce around the room quickly and vanish.
He'll also fire a beam of ice across the screen, or toss a small bomb that
will explode on impact.
The stars he fires and the
bombs can be inhaled and spit back. Otherwise, since he's often up in the
air, a long range ability tends to be best. (Or Tornado.)
Ice Island
Meta Knight
Meta Knight isn't giving Kirby any chances to fight back this time! Though
you can get a sword in the room before him, it's best to keep your
distance. Abilities like Wheel, Tornado (duh) and Bubble work surprisingly
well against him.
MK has all his old moves and a
few new ones. He'll fly and create tornadoes, but now he'll occasionally
shoot fire blasts from his sword, or slam it into the ground to create an
electric field. He'll spin around sometimes to create stars that can be
spit back at him, but he moves very fast and it can be hard to get to
them.
Secret Sea
Dark Dorocche (Dark Daroach)
Dark Dorocche has the same attacks as the regular one, only MUCH bigger
and more powerful. The bombs in particular will become massive pillars of
fire which are tough to avoid.
Gamble Galaxy
Dark Zero (Dark Nebula)
This guy is even easier than Dark Dorocche, and oddly only has one form,
unlike many previous Kirby final bosses.
Dark Zero
will switch between three different elemental forms- Fire, Ice, and
Electricity. Each one has it's own attacks, such as electricity creating
an electric field on all sides of the screen, forcing Kirby to float in
the center.
You can use the Triple Star weapon to beat this boss
fairly easily.
