A new mini-boss,
this guy will just lumber along at first, causing rocks to
fall from the ceiling. Then it suddenly pulls in its limbs
and rolls across the screen quickly. Not hard to beat, it
can just take a while if you have no ability.
Bonkers
Hammer
A long time staple of the
series, and still the only way to get the Hammer ability!
Bonkers will try to hit you with his hammer or throw
exploding coconuts.
Boxy
Magic
Nothing about Boxy
makes sense! It's quite random in its attack pattern too.
Boxy's main attack is to dash across the screen at you, but
sometimes it'll stop and throw a smaller box at Kirby, which
can be inhaled and spit back or it'll explode. It can be
hard to tell what it's going to do though.
Bow Fighter

Fighter
This is a very bad
dog. Do NOT engage in close-combat! It'll grab you with its
ears (which double as fists) and slam you between them. Bow
Fighter uses a variety of punching moves, and a
long-distance energy blast that can be inhaled and spit
back. Just keep your distance.
Buboo
Bubble
Underneath those
bubbles, Buboo is an adorable little crab! Buboo will float
around and drop bubbles to be inhaled and spit back. Once
you've hit it a few times the bubbles will pop and Buboo
will fall to the ground and ran back and forth very quickly.
Gao Gao
Animal
A larger version
of Gaw Gaw. Gao Gao will spin around rapidly like a tornado
of claws, or shoot forward like a drill. It will create
stars when it does, and become dizzy and vulnerable to
attack for a few moments after!
Mr. Frosty.
Ice
Back once again,
and still missing the seat of his pants! Mr. Frosty will
dance around and toss ice cubes at Kirby. He can also gobble
him up and spit him out if he gets too close.
Tedhaun
Ghost
A secret
mini-boss, you won't see this guy until you collect all the
pieces of the Ghost medal. At that point, he'll appear in
the place of one random mini-boss in each world.
Tedhaun can't attack on his own- but if Kirby
gets too close he'll get possessed and be unable to move as
Tedhaun has one of his smaller ghosts attack! Inhale the
small ghosts and spit them at this miniboss to defeat him.
Spin (Spinni)
Ninja
Most of the time
when you face Spin, it's a race to see who can get the
treasure to the end of the level first. Spin is fast, but
not too tough. You can outrun him or just attack him and get
a good head start! He attacks with ninja stars and a clawed
weapon.
Stron (Storo)

Stron's sheer
size makes him quite a foe. When he takes up a third of the
screen he can be hard to dodge! But it also makes him a big
target. Just keep attacking him and don't let him get a hit
in.
Doc
Laser,
UFO
Doc either
appears in his little spaceship, or in larger mechas as
bosses. He can attack Kirby with the ship, but is slow and
one hit will send it crashing.
Chuulin
(Squeakers)

They appear in
large numbers when you face other members of the gang. Some
of them will just jump around and get in Kirby's way, while
others throw giant bombs! When there are lots of them they
can be quite a nuisance, so it's best to deal with them
first.
