A staple of the series and
often the first boss you face. As 'Spring Breeze' is just
a sort of remake of the original Kirby's Adventure, Whispy
is unchanged from there (except in graphics.) He's rooted
to one spot, making him an easy target for a wide range of
attacks. He'll drop apples on Kirby, or blow puffs of air,
but he can easily be defeated in a few seconds with an
ability like Bomb.
Spring Breeze, Arena
Lololo
and Lalala
This duo is fought on a
series of three levels, with passages to go up and down
between them. Lololo and Lalala will appear from doors on
either side on a random level, pushing a green block or a
Gordo enemy. Kirby can inhale the blocks and spit them
back at them, or just use an ability to destroy the block
and attack.
Spring Breeze, Arena
Kracko
Kracko is fought in two stages. First you
must fight the smaller form, Kracko Jr. (Only in Spring
Breeze- he doesn't appear in the Arena.) All he'll do is
zip around the stage trying to hit Kirby.
When fighting Kracko, he'll stop to drop
a Waddle Doo which can be spit back at him. He'll also
stop and shoot beams of electricity around him, dash
across the bottom of the screen to hit Kirby, or stop and
try to hit him with rain. (The rain hurts for some
reason!)
Spring Breeze, Milky Way Wishes, Arena
King
Dedede
Dedede is fought in a
wrestling ring in his castle in front of a cheering crowd.
Dedede's pretty much a pushover here, though. He'll try to
inhale Kirby and spit him out, dash forward and slam his
hammer down, or jump into the air and crash back down on
him. The hammer and jump will create stars that can be
inhaled and spit back at him.
Spring Breeze, Arena
Dyna
Blade
Kirby fights this giant bird high on a
mountaintop. She'll zoom back into the background and
swoop forward with razor wings and deadly talons. Her
beak is both sharp and can shoot fireballs?
Dynablade, Arena
Fatty
Whale
This behemoth is fought on a dock where he
swims nearby. He throws around his weight, making a big splash to
knock debris and Blipper up at Kirby. He sure can fly for such
a blimp.
Great Cave Offensive, Milky Way Wishes, Arena
Battle
Windows
This doesn't seem like a Kirby game at all!
This game glitch attacks in turns. When the encountered foe drops
out of the box, it can be attack. Otherwise, guard yourself!
It'll throw out a line up line up of a Slime, Dancing Dall,
Wizard, Knight, or Red Dragon.
Great Cave Offensive, Milky Way Wishes, Arena
Gameleoarm
Fought in ancient ruins, this leaping lizard
blends into the walls. You can't see him! Fortunately, Kirby can
gobble up one of the color balls it spits for a hand at that.
Great Cave Offensive, Milky Way Wishes, Arena
Wham
Bam Rock
This titan is obscured in the shadows, but all
Kirby needs to be worried about is dodging those crushing hands.
They smash down hard and drop boulders. Watch out!
Great Cave Offensive, Milky Way Wishes, Arena
Twin
Woods
What could be harder than one Whispy? How about two?
... Well, okay. It's really not. This conjoined couple has some
extra tricks up his sleeve, including pesky catepillars and
swapping out segments with its other half.
Revenge of Meta Knight, Milky Way Wishes, Arena
Combo
Cannon
The top turret launches out gigantic cannonballs,
which aren't a worry if Kirby stays low. Things can't be easy,
and a lower down laser will fry away any attempts at hiding.
Raising platforms and outreached hands add to the complexity.
Revenge of Meta Knight, Arena
Heavy
Lobster
This fortified defender stalks Kirby through the Halberd.
It's a tough foe, but it needs to be able to see to attack.
Those bouncing blobs it dumps out from its claws happen to
be paint. You know what that means -- time for a fresh coat!
Revenge of Meta Knight, Arena
Halberd
Reactor
Kirby can't hurt the core no matter how
hard he tries. Luckily, the chattering fleet of Meta Knight
drop the ball and reveal its weakness -- itself!
Redirect the defense lasers at the reactor. Meanwhile,
beware the cannon and flame throwers in the floor.
Revenge of Meta Knight, Arena
Meta
Knight
This cunning swordsman offers Kirby a blade
before he strikes, and he will -- hard, fast, and as a tornado.
Don't expect him to be a push over who stands in place.
This is a boss on the move.
Revenge of Meta Knight, Arena
Meta Knight (Winged)
Just because you say its over
doesn't mean that it is. Meta Knight comes back with
bat wings and energy blasts. Luckily, you don't have to contend
with that. You're on a Wheelie Rider and just need to
get off of Halberd before it's too late.
Revenge of Meta Knight
Heart
of Nova
Armed with a Star Chariot, Kirby has to blast his
way through the guns surrounding Nova's heart. Make sure to
get them on the first way through 'cuz the star ship doesn't
turn around. At all.
Milky Way Wishes, Arena
Marx
He seemed to cute and innocent before. Now, he's a cackling
fiend, and what a mouth on him. He'll spit up freezing orbs and
one big laser. His wings aren't too shabby, either, tossing out
spinning blades and dropping thorny seeds. He's got a lot
of tricks up his sleeve, so use all your abilities to stop
him. And, if in the Arena, good luck with that.
