I'm pretty impressed by this, and thought it was very much worth a front page post.

"Kirby Dream Mix" is a Kirby fan game by Tetraflora, which will be a remix of KDL1, but with a lot more content.

This is one of the few fan games with a release date scheduled (Oct. 4). In other words, it's almost complete! You don't get those often at all (add the fact the fangaming community here's microscopic).

We've at least put the picture gallery page for Returns to Dream Land on the site. It includes a magazine scan of Nintendo Power's take on it, so be sure to take a read, especially since some new info's written in there too!

Also fixed the main picture gallery page so that it includes Epic Yarn and Returns to Dream Land.

It's not often that we get fan music submissions here at KRR, so today I am proud to give the spotlight to Kirby's Dream Band, a Kirby cover band based in San Diego, California.

They are an instrumental rock band who are hard at work on their first album, which will have ten tracks. I really appreciate the samples they've put out so far. Not only are they good rock arrangements of Kirby songs, but they are usually a medley of a couple songs that blend very well together. They seem to be covering a good range of Kirby songs, from Kirby's Adventure tracks to Kirby's Dream Land 3!

I'll make another post once their album is ready, but check out their youtube to see what they're up to for now, and go see them if you're in the area!

Okay now THAT is the official title, according to Nintendo of America's own site.

The release date's also shown, set to Oct. 24th. This is quite a bit sooner than I had expected! Mass Attack will definitely keep me busy till then (which releases Sept. 19).

One of my main worries with this game, and others as well, was that it seemed impossible for players 2-4 to play as a copy-ability able partner, and it seems like that's been relieved! Nintendo of Europe has confirmed today that up to four players can play as Kirby, each a different color à la previous titles. Isn't that great? Now you can play with your siblings/friends without arguing over who gets to play as Kirby... although you may still argue over who gets to play as Meta Knight. Oh well!

Kirby's Epic Yarn's soundtrack has been uploaded in the multimedia section of the site. The songs should be properly tagged, with matching track numbers with what the game shows in its sound room. Please let me know if there are any mistakes (by commenting on here).

I do also have the demo reel tracks as well as few sound effects lying around as well. We'll get those tagged and uploaded on a later date.

Also, since Kirby Wii's coming, and Brawl has the most massive soundtrack ever, we'll be splitting the "higher systems" section to N64/GCN and Wii sections eventually. It'll be looking a tad ugly for a bit.

EDIT:okay, heated argument in the comments again. I did see this coming. This is the last time we're gonna discuss this out here, and I will delete comments trying to argue about this in any future news posts. This news will be locked in a week (08/20).
