Kirby isn't a very hard
character to describe. He's round, he's pink, and
he's cute and sweet enough to make your teeth hurt.
He's also a
Star Warrior.
Kirby is just a baby, and
according to Meta Knight he was supposed to 'sleep' for another
200 years before he matured. So he's untrained and
can only speak a little, mostly names and words he likes-
(suika for watermelon!) His personality started off
pretty simple- when he's hungry, he eats.
When he's sleepy, he sleeps. (And it really doesn't
matter where he is or what might be happening.)
But Kirby has shown
himself to be a very kind-hearted (if stubborn) little
guy. This is something that's almost been his
undoing on a few occasions. At a few other
times it seems to be an asset.
While Kirby is very naive
and inexperienced when it comes to just about everything,
when he takes on an enemy's ability, he inexplicably seems
to know exactly what to do.
Kirby's greatest secret is
that he was in fact a creation of Nightmare that disobeyed
him, or so it's said...
English Name: Tokkori Japanese Name: トッコリ
(Tokkori)
Japanese Voice Actress: Takimoto Fujiko English Voice Actor: Kevin Kolack
Tokkori
is... odd. He's just a very mean, mischievous bird
who has this penchant for making fun of Kirby. Kirby has a bad habit of sleeping in Tokkori's
nest instead of his own house, but then Tokkori prefers
Kirby's bed anyway! Sometimes Tokkori tries to be
nice to Kirby, but he picks the worst times to do
it. He tends to cause more trouble than anything,
and he must kind of like Kirby if he still lives with him!
Tokkori and the villagers once believed that Tokkori
was descended from a royal bird named Lord James Coleet
(Or Korito- which is just Tokkori with the syllables mixed
up!) who belonged to the pirate Captain Kick. But it
turned out to not be the case. However, Tiff altered a
painting so the rest of the village still thought it was
true! Nevertheless, Tokkori didn't want to be seen as royalty,
preferring to have things to complain about.
Tokkori was Kirby's navigator in the episode 'The Kirby
Derby'.
