Dedede's suspicions of Kirby go
into full swing as he pulls out photographic evidence and
accuses Fumu of hiding secrets about Kirby from him. When he
doesn't get the answers he wants he called up Holy Nightmare
Co., where Customer Service offers a new demon beast called
Kracko. Meta Knight overhears and worries about Kirby's
safety.
Kirby is mostly settled in his
new home, though Tokkori has moved in as well and bosses him
around. Fumu shows up to try and ask Kirby some questions- but
Kirby only babbles so it's no use. She notices some ominous
dark clouds appear above them, and then lighting starts
striking near her and Kirby. They run for it, something in the
cloud chasing them and sending down thunderbolts. They go
through the village, where many of the people are struck as
well and general mayhem ensues.
Dedede goes to watch, knowing
that it's actually Kracko up in the cloud. Kirby decides his
jeep would be a good place to hide, which causes Kracko to
start attacking Dedede and Escargon too. They barely make it
to the castle before falling into the moat.
Kirby goes into hiding while
Fumu and the others search for him. They realized Kirby can't
fight an enemy like this, so Fumu goes to Kabu. She finds Meta
Knight already there, with the Warp Star she put there for
safe-keeping. Meta Knight says he isn't sure how much he
really knows about Kirby, but Fumu begs him to tell her.
He explains how Dedede orders
his demon beasts with a special delivery system, and he gets
them from the business empire Holy Nightmare, which dominates
the universe. It was created by Nightmare tens of thousands of
years ago. Meta Knight says how he is a Star Warrior and faced
Nightmare's armies with his comrades- but the armies of demons
beasts were innumerable, and every other warrior was killed
except for himself. Meta Knight vowed to search for the next
generation of warriors.
He became a servant of Dedede
because a Star Warrior's ship homes in on demon beasts-
because of Dedede's hobbies he hoped a ship would come there.
Though Kirby did arrive, he
came too soon. He was supposed to sleep for another 200 years,
but was 'born' prematurely. As such, he is just a baby who has
no knowledge. Thankfully, he has amazing natural abilities.
Meta Knight vows to watch over him- and says Fumu will too, as
only someone who loves and cares for Kirby can protect the
Warp Star- a source of Kirby's energy.
Meanwhile, Bun, Lololo and
Lalala encourage Kirby to try and face Kracko instead of
hiding. Kirby tries, but even his inhale can't reach it. Fumu
arrives and summons the Warp Star for him, allowing him to
face Kracko in the sky. But he can't dodge it's lightning and
falls again, saved at the last moment by his Warp Star. He
changes his tactic, inhaling much of the clouds around Kracko
and shooting them back, removing its cover.
Kracko attacks with
blade-shaped lightning, which Kirby inhales to become Sword
Kirby again. He uses several Sword Beams against his foe,
defeating Kracko and clearing up the dark clouds. Fumu tells
Kirby that she'll handle the Warp Star for him from now on.
