Where do you find the ROM of... nah, I'm just kidding. My question is about ROMs though. What is Nintendo doing to stop the illegal distribution of ROMs? It's not like they can just ignore it, the usual excuse that they preserve the classics doesn't apply when it's a GBA or GameCube ROM, and if someone has a good enough computer to play a GameCube ROM, then they obviously could have just purchased the game. So what is Nintendo doing to keep ROMs from destroying their business?
KW: I dunno. I'm a Kirby Guru, not a Nintendo Guru :P

Not a question, actually, but an answer: The 'bumping Whispy until he's down' thing from mailbags 20 and 22 is a reference to Kirby Air Ride; if you ram Whispy Woods repeatedly in the City Trial, he eventually gets his 'I've been defeated' face and the crowd makes a sad/shocked noise. As far as I know, this doesn't trigger any super-secret events or anything, though; it's just an easter egg of sorts. Thought you'd want to know. On the topic of hidden secrets... you said in the last mailbag that you weren't going to share your super-ultra-secret about Kirby's Adventure, at least not yet. Some people are going to think you're just making things up to make yourself seem more knowledgable than you are. Others are going to ask you about it... every... single... mailbag. I'm just going to stop asking about it, though, and I hope others follow my example. Reading issue after issue of letters asking 'wut iz d sekrit powaa' and you replying 'not telling' will just be boring. That said, I hope you do decide to share the secret. It doesn't do the Kirby community any good for you to hoard this secret, especially when you're supposed to be informing it as a Guru.
KW: I know that Whispy can be defeated in Air Ride, but I had no idea that it was termed "bumping Whispy until he is down." As for the secret power, to those that don't believe it, ask Kindar (if you can find her, hahaha). She knows it exists. But don't count on her telling you ;D

Hello KW. I saw in the previous guru something about kid kirby, and Kirby has hair. Do you have a picture of it? And also, what do the other characters look like? (King Dedede with hair.. BWAHAHA)
KW: Sadly, the only photo I had of it, I cannot find. Dedede basically looked the same, just a little more like a child.

Hey KW, it's me again. 1. I was wondering why they made all the bosses and mini-bosses in KNID bigger than KA. 2. I forgot, so can you tell me again if Meta Knight stays the same size in both games?
KW: 1.To make them more dangerous looking? I dunno. 2.Yes
DarkKnight
Howcome in KA and K:NiD, In levels with the Lollipop, Metaknight gives it to you, but he is also a boss?(this has been bothering me for a while)
KW: If you people don't know the answer to this by now, then shame on you.

Questions: 1. why does it take you so long to reply to emails besides the automated response thingy.2. If HAL makes another SSB, do you think Meta Knight should be in it?3. it doesn't seem reasonablethat it is illegal to buy a copy of an unreleased game if you buy it in another country where it has been released, don't you think?4.Is there any type of meta- knight subgame you can play after beating the game?5. how do i submit my fanart to KRR?6.what are the new moves with sword kirby in KAM? 7.jarredchili's animations are ODD!!!! SHADOW's cool now, right?
KW: 1.I'm a busy guy. 2.I guess. 3.It's only illegal if you take it out of the country that you bought it in. 4.What game? 5.Go to the fanart section and do your stuff there. You post it up yourself. No more sending files to the staff. 6.He can slash many times and he can do the final cutter. 7.Well, I THOUGHT SHADOW changed, but apparently not. I just don't post it anymore because it's getting boring and old.

Hey Kirby Warrior! I am the guy you once knew as "anonymus"! Now, I have 3 questions, so bear with me. First, In Kirby's Dream Land 3, What is the name of the weapon Kirby uses in the final battle? Second, In Kirby Super Star: Revenge of Meta Knight, I can see that he escapes the Halbird, but since he has the Nightmare in his mind, as you mentioned in previous gurus, how does he become good again? Would you know? Finally, In Nightmare In Dreamland, for the ball ability, he wears a red hat with a blue stripe. However, in the picture that is in the bottom left of the screen when you get an ability, or on the pause menu in the bottom right corner of the screen, he has a different hat on! Whats with that? Is it a version of the hat that wasnt used, or something else? Please anwer all of these for me as soon as you can! Thanks! I am just wondering if you might know if the names of enemies might be corrected for the US version.(Like how Mr. Frosty was changed to Mr FLOSTY. I hate that!) would you happen to know? Please answer this for me ASAP! Thanks!
KW: 1.Oh gosh, I dunno. Heartstar Rod? 2.No one knows if he ever does. 3.It's the same thing with Fire ability too. I don't know why they did that. 4.No, I do not

I've always wanted to know a few things. I found a spot 2 pixels off of the way kirby lands in Kirby Superstar In the 2nd level of Dynablade. I thought kirby games were perfect. Questions: 1- If Kirby was gonna be yellow why change it to pink when there were so many other colors to choose from. 2- How come there are no Sphere mapped Kirby's in the gameboy advance game? 3- Why did they only put certain enemies in some games and why was there isn't an enemy that ive kirby a technological vapourizing beam lazer kind of like crash but it lasts five seconds and it kills any stage enemy in one shot? 4- Kirby air ride has all these cool songs and I say its the 3rd best kirby game out, WHY IS THERE A LIMIT OF 7 MINUTES?!?!? That's the reason it loses to avalanche. 5- Do any of the Kirby Games have cutscenes in them? 6- Has any adventuring Kirby game ever had internet play or will there ever be one?(besides Kirby Air Ride)
KW: 1. Kirby wasn't going to be yellow. I've already said what really happened. 2.What? 3.You are making no sense. 4.Because? 5.No 6.Kirby's Air Ride doesn't have internet play. Sure there's a program that you can download that can enable you to play it on the internet, but it's an unofficial program and is illegal.

All right. I know youve heard from me way too much, but I PROMISE that this is my final question for you for a while. I promise I'll gather all my questions and put them in one submission next time this happens. I just kept finding new stuff that confused me, so I consulted you when I could. I am SO SORRY for all this trouble. PLEASE dont get mad at me and PLEASE answer all my questions. I know this is a big task, and I feel very sorry. So, I'll get to my 2 questions now. First, in Nightmare In Dreamland, sometimes when a Waddle Dee or Waddle Doo enemy has a parasol and lands after gliding in the air, instead of holding the parasol in its hand, its seems to stick to the top of its head! why is this. Secondly,(and finally,) in most Kirby games, when Kirby is holding an item (for example, a sword, the star rod, etc.), instead of having his hand curve aroound the object, the object seems to "float" in front of his hand! why is this? I do hope you know the answers to ! my questions, because they will bother me a lot if I didn't ask you. Please answer this as soon as you can! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!
KW: 1.General laziness. It's less sprites for them to make. 2.It probably looked better.
Mr Red Ghost
Hello Kirby W, I am a big Kirby fan. Anyway my Q's! 1. Is your favourite boss Dark Matter or is it someone else, I can't remember? 2. What are your Top 5 or Top 10 favourite bosses in the kirby games? 3. What is your favourite mini/sub boss in the kirby games? 4. What are your Top 5 or Top 10 favourite sub/mini bosses in the kirby games? 5. What are your favourite Enemies in the kirby games? (By that I mean the small ones in the levels) 6. Why the hell did they call the new game Kirby & the Amazing Mirror? It sounds daft because the game is like a maze and it would had been better if it was called Kirby:The Mirror Labyrinth or Kirby of the Stars:The Great Mirror Labyrinth or even Kirby: Great Labyrinth of the Mirror! Thank You Very Much KW. Bye Bye for now!
KW: 1.It's Dark Matter. 2.Oh, I dunno. 3.Dunno. 4.Dunno. 5.Dunno. 6.Because we got lousy translators.

hey kw, i have 2 questions. 1: what's the dream spring? i was on ivy's faq and someone mentioned something about the dream spring. do you have a pic of it, cause i've NEVER seen it. 2: is King Kirby real? i might have heard of him on video & arcade top 10 when i was younger, but i don't know what game it was or if it is even in a game OR if it even real. thanx for your time. oh, ps: why are they rebuilding the section of KSS (i hope u know what that stands for) that has the bosses? reply soon!
KW: 1.The Dream Spring is one of the most important things in the Kirby universe. You can see it in Kirby's Adventure, Kirby Super Star, and Super Smash Brothers Melee. 2.King Kirby? Never heard of such a thing.

I know i've sent you alot of emails, but just respond to at least one. ok, 4 questions: 1: is there gonna be a kirby's alavanche advance, because kirby, nmre in dreamland is on GB Advance. 2: Why are Kirby's enemies so cute? is it so they make you think you have a chance? 3: how does the cheat for Kirby's Avalanche work? I know it opens another custom menu, but one time, i did that and fiddled around with something on that menu and as soon as I started the game, I was facing heavy mole! now i don't know what i chose, hard, normal, lesson, but i know i faced heavy mole. & 4: ........ I forgot. i'll email you when i remember. thanx for your time!
KW: 1.No 2.Because it's a cute game. 3. Hmm? The extra options? I don't remember too well, but I think on the second controler, hold L, R, A, B, X, and Y then turn on the game, and with those buttons still held, go to the options. and a new set of options should be open for you, including a level select.
