Here we are with the third batch of Q&A! Some of these have SPOILERS for future anime and game things, so they have been blacked out. How to view em? Simply highlight the text! Name: MetaKnightmareGirl Let's see now. The title says 'Takeoff! Battleship Halberd' I think you can figure it out. Name: Alice2 ... *dies laughing* XD It's so funny when you anime-bashy people say 'omg they messed it up!' and then you can't even your your facts straight. See, YOU're the one who messed up Kirby. XD You call yourself a fan? One: Lololo and Lalala on the show are not the same Lololo and Lalala in the games. (And the ones in the games weren't bad guys either.) In fact the Lololo and Lalala in the games aren't quite right either (some would say) since they're both based on the characters Lolo and Lala from another game series HAL made called 'The Adventures of Lolo'. Two: The dub changes their names to Fololo and Falala- the original got it right. Three: Whispy Woods was never a bad guy. He just got possessed by Dark Matter a lot, and in Kirby's Adventure he was just doing a favor for Dedede. In fact, in some games, like Tilt n' Tumble for example, he really helps out Kirby a lot! Four: Admittedly Dedede isn't as cute as in the games, but he has his own appeal. Just because a character isn't 'cute' isn't a good reason not to like a whole show. You lose! Try again. =D Name: drew cranford Um... Did it ever start? XD Kine still has a thing for her if that's what you mean, but it won't go anywhere. They're from different worlds... XD Name: XCuber2 Q: I read in the last set of questions that Iron Kirby, Water Kirby, Top Kirby, and Baton Kirby from Air Ride in... I mean Crisis of the Warpstar! I forgot that title's much better! Anyways, I found out that those came from a contest in Japan to see who could come up with the best copy ability. Do you know if that will be done in the US? Because I've got some awesome material! :) Please answer my question, Ivyana. I got your name right! Talk about skill! Oh, and even more skill. Ivyana Spyder. Yeah! To all of those who spelled Ivyana's name wrong, IN YOUR FACE!!!!! Heh, heh. Anyhoo, please answer my question. You got my name wrong. DIE. *stabby death for you* Anyway. =D No, they wouldn't have a contest like that here. For one, the show ended so unless they do a sequel they aren't going to have more contests... Second, if they did it would be Japan only. Though it's possible I suppose. *shrug* Name: Life Q: In one of your answers you said that N.M.E. was the guys name. Isn't it the name of the company, NightMare Enterprises? I can assure you right I NEVER said that. NME and Nightmare Enterprises are dub creations. The company is REALLY called 'Holy Nightmare'. The guy in charge is called Nightmare. The guy Dedede talks to on the screen is 'Customer Service' originally, also called Frontman or Salesguy in the english fandom. Name: wmknox Silly question. XD The original by far. Lovely music, better voices, overall just a more pleasant viewing experience. Oh, I WISH I had access to the entire series in Japanese... All I can get is the first 36 or so episodes. ;_; Name: Ezekiel White Er, it's okay, I don't have anything else to do- HOLY CRAP this is a lotta questions. o_o Well, I'll do my best. Question #1: I understand that Spark Kirby has not appeared in the anime in the U.S.A yet. However, in Japan, they gave him the name Plasma Kirby. I know that the forms have many striking simularities, but Spark Kirby and Plasma Kirby are different. Why did they change his name? No no, Spark Kirby and Plasma Kirby have always been separate, even in Japan. Only Spark Kirby appears in the show, and it's always called 'Spark Kirby'. As for why they're different in the games, you'd be better off checking out KW's section. (I believe he answered this question.) Question #2: It is also a fact that the anime has not aired (in the U.S.A) specific forms for Kirby. Jet, Wing, and UFO have not appeared in the U.S.A yet. Will they appear later in the show? Jet and Wing appear in the show. UFO is not in the show. Question #4: Backdrop Kirby can be considered the "forgotten Kirby ability" Fighter Kirby has similar moves to Backdrop Kirby and has the same hat. Does this mean that Backdrop Kirby will not appear as a seperate ability in the show? Wait, isn't this question 3? Er, anyway. No, Backdrop Kirby is not in the show. Only Fighter and Throw. Question #5: Will Laser Kirby air on the U.S.A show in the near future, if he appears at all? Laser Kirby does not appear in the anime. Okay, to answer ALL of you ability questions, please just go here http://www.ivynajspyder.com/Kirby/kirbyeplist.htm I list ALL the abilities they use in ALL episodes. There. o_o I all ready linked to it, but sheesh... Question #6: This isn't really a question, it's more of a comment. I do believe that the show will have a sequel. Why? Here are my reasons: This isn't really the place for ranting, but yeah, there's always a chance for a sequel. =P Name: Anonymous Dude Q: from what you saw in the japanese version of the kirby anime is there any violent parts, such as blood, they cut or edit out of the american version ...*dies laughing* XD Okay, here's somethin people need to understand- Kirby isn't an action anime. (Actually the creators say it's a 'life drama'.) It's mostly intended for young children really. The focus of the show isn't the fighting- despite how much some people want it to be. There's a very small amount of blood ever shown on the anime, though it does tend to get violent- but none of that is ever cut from the dub. They seem to only cut non-violent parts which pisses me off of course. =D Well, that and they cut anything with Chief Borun's (Bookem's)
gun...
Name: Kirby Escaflowne Way to feed my ego. XD Er, I mean, thanks! Anyway, in Japan it's called 'Hoshi no Kaabi' or 'Kirby of the Stars', just like all the games (or the main ones) are called that. =D
Name: Tannakitten Actually, yer a bit mixed up sweetie. XD The music in Air Ride is from the anime, rather. The anime came first, and they chose to use music from the anime when they made the game. And it was HAL over in Japan that chose to do this, not anyone in the US. I'll get around to making a list of what songs from the anime are used in Air Ride. 2: This might be a spoiler, but does MK's mask come off near the end of the series? Wait n' see. (Sorry, nope.) 3: The animators made Nightmare too ugly! In Nightmare
in Dreamland he looked kewlies and sinister but in the show
he's just plain freaky. XD He looks exactly the same in NIDL and in the anime- he's supposed to look freaky and ugly. He's called 'Nightmare' after all- what, d'ya expect him to be cute? =P And you can see his entire face in the game too. See?
That's all for this time, kiddies! |
