Only the Japanese version has animated weeds or whatever in
the foreground.
This was probably deleted to make room for the "Winner
_____!!" text line that
only appears in the US and PAL versions (remember, the banners
in the sky
already say the character name and "winner," so
the Japanese version didn't
need the text line)."
