Topic: This was scary, but at least I got enough e-mails to where
I could handle them. ^_^;;; There was no topic, but it stayed Kirby
related anyway. How nice! So, I liked it so much I may even do it
again.
Gareth:
In super smash bros (not melee), voice 198 in the sound test
sounds like the announcer guy saying "Build A Stage!"
I have never heard the announcer say anything like this in
any other parts of the game. Could this mean theres a hidden
stage building option? That would be so cool
KS: Thanks for writing in with a secret!
I am rather sad to say I am the worst SSB player of all time.
Not only do I utterly suck at the game, but I would never
have gotten far enough to hear that. That's why I passed on
the question to former RR staff and mailbag guy, who in his
notorious way of putting things short:
Narf: "He's saying "Bonus Stage".
KS: It does elaborate doesn't he? ;) Hope that answers your
question!
WaddleDooDaa:
Hey Kindar. :P Anyway, what's your take on the recent Air
Ride screen-shots with multiple crafts? Maybe you can actually
upgrade them with equipment?
KS: Hey Daa! ^_^ *nudge* I actually
just saw those screenshots only a little while ago, and I
thought they were sweet! I would have to agree, it looks as
if there is some sort of way to change your ship or upgrade
it. It doesn't look ability based because there seems to be
a normal Kirby riding the same star as Needle Kirby. I have
no idea how they might work, we'll just have to wait. -_-;;
But while we are waiting and on the topic of Air Ride, I just
want to point out this screenshot here is the coolest thing
I've ever seen. I'd buy the game to play this part of the
game over and over. Now where do you think this game is taking
place... because I have no idea where Kirby is here?
Mike:
Just wanted to comment on how great your site is. I've been
following it for a while now, and it just keeps getting better.
Keep it up Kindar!
KS: Hey thanks much Mike! ^_^ Thank
YOU for visiting the site and letting us take some of your
time. It's sweet of you to say that. I'd also like to thank
Aqua, Daa and the other great people on the forums who also
do a tremendous part in keeping this place up.
Peter:
Hi great website, I'm so glad there is Kirby websites out
there, i thought i was the only Kirby fanatic! Well I was
seeing what you think of the Kirby shows on fox box. Personally
I don't think there are real Kirby material, its a little
babyish and lacks a real good fighting scene. i was wondering
what was your thoughts on it....
KS: Heya! Thanks for the compliment
and you are definitely not the only Kirby fanatic around.
Just look around *points to the forums*. There are people
there that talk about the neatest Kirby tidbits. I've learnt
a lot just poking around... like Ivyna J Spyder working to
get on FoxBox's case about releasing the Japanese Kirby shows
in the U.S.! Now that's pretty cool. ^_^
As for the show, I absolutely love it. It may be aimed at
a certain age group, but everyone can get a little something
from it. There is a plot running in the background, but for
older viewers it may seem to progress too slow to hang around
for. Then again, if a series was released about Kirby teaching
golf I'd probably enjoy that too. Something about pink cream
puffs are extremely cool. I have a question for you - what
else would you like to see besides fight scenes? What would
you like to see in the show?
Tim:
Do you know if a new season of Kirby is coming out this Fall?
By the way, I really like your site! I have my own... Sometimes
I look at your site to give me ideas. :) PS: Do you mind if
I send in the connections I've found between Kirby Super Star
and Super Smash Bros Melee to your MailBag?
KS: Unfortunately, I do not know for
certain, but there is an extremely high chance Kirby will
be coming back for a second season in the Fall. The feedback
and success of the series is doing so well I don't see why
not. One thing I do complain about - why are they releasing
the VHS / DVD's so slow? -_- That's kinda frustrating.
Feel free to send in a link for your site if you'd like, and
we'd love to hear about your SSBM and KSS comparisons!
hero:
What is Kirby's story, where did he come from?
KS: To sum it up, um, well it would
take a lot more than just one mail bag answer. ^_^ In as short
as I can be, Kirby is like a warrior from the stars (who wasn't
quite ready to hatch... oops!) battling some untold evil and
his secret past is still being pieced together every Saturday
on his cartoon. If you watch it, your learning about as much
as the rest of us. I wouldn't want to give any major spoilers
away, but I can give you a link to our 101 section, that gives
you a short summary about Kirby and co.
AppleKid:
Why hasn't the mailbag been updated in, oh, approximately
forever? Just curious.
KS: That would be up to the wise frosty
one, I can't answer that for him. It's updated now, a positive
note I might add. So... that's all you have to say? ^_^;;
Jaimeson:
May IS in Spring, it's not summer until June 21st.
KS: Ohhh... you mean in reference to
the erm, cleaning thing we're doing? It's called Summer cleaning
cause uh, we actually don't plan to do it until the summer?
Or like, on our planet it is already Summer. Okay, no your
right that is my bad. ^_^ This is coming from someone who
still can't remember how many days are in which month.
KS: I would just like to thank everyone for writing in this week,
I really enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts, questions and suggestions.
If you don't see yours posted, I may not have received it or it just
was way out there. Sorry!
