Comment on IF Entry - Galix (Ice)

It doesn't come across as all that creative. It just ... ice breathes. But, really, it's the name that piques my interest. Galix? Couldn't go for something that wasn't already used, especially since that's addressed first thing? Stranger yet, the name was originally written as "Glalix", which makes a lot more sense due to the given name origin, but then what-what went and wrote it without that L.

Comment on IF Entry - Mr. Klavier (Mike)

A piano? Great! That's perfect for a heavy, Mike enemy. Wait, it doesn't do anything sound related? It just... eats Kirby? ... Huh.

Comment on IF Entry - Seuss (Parasol)

The "a blue blob with a hut for a hat" comment was in reference to Klinko, a parasol enemy in Dream Land 3, not Seuss. That's why they said "This enemy is pretty random, but then again most parasol enemies are". This refers to Seuss, and the blue blob part refers to, shock, the hutted blob Klinko. Basic reading and inferencin' that one is.

Comment on IF Entry - Cardiacry (Mike)

I find this one refreshing. Most Mike enemies are clocks or mechanical, but this one just sings, a more true aspect of the ability. Simple and fitting.

Comment on IF Entry - Fang-O-Mango (Needle)

This guy doesn't seem fit for Needle or even being a large foe. It's an interesting concept, but this is something more for a contest of neat-o, 'nique normal enemies (Pristinely Ungifted, coming next), which seems to be something coming up more than expected with this lot.

Comment on IF Entry - Andre (Tornado)

Every enemy could be multiple colors, not just Doo.

I really like this guy. It's a Tornado foe that isn't made of air (unlike oh-so many rejected entries).

Comment on IF Entry - Juggernaut (Bomb)

This happened in the Mini-boss contest, too. For some reason, people think a giant, walking bomb should be a bomb enemy. Frankly, I think Bob-omb topped that off. Otherwise, it's good and solid, nothing wrong with it, but nothing really pops either.

Comment on IF Entry - Sunspot (Crash)

I like the timing for the successful inhale. Timing is a very Kirby thing.

Comment on IF Entry - Canniball (Fire)

I like the idea behind it -- a cannon that launches Kirby away. Kinda like Snooter but with more firepower. The problem I have with it is Fire. Fire? Bomb seems a bit more appropriate, especially with the whole self destruct sequence.

Comment on IF Entry - Brussel (Hammer)

He comes across more like a mini-boss than a standard enemy, but not enough to be denied entry into the contest. Basically boils down to the tossing out things that get inhaled.

Comment on IF Entry - Big Box (Magic)

A sort of random enemy generator. It's a pretty neat concept, although a bit more about this box itself would be nice. It was all left sorta vague.

Comment on IF Entry - DosuKoi (Fighter)

While visually more complicated than is expected to be seen on Pop Star (although a lot of it is just artistic representation by Daimyo), I do like the pushing. It's a nice touch. The aquatic possibility is a little odd of a choice. It might as well be a whole new enemy since it acts entirely differently.

Comment on IF Entry - Kazoo (Mike)

My honest opinion is that he read the "no thin, be fat" rule and wondered how much he could push it...

Comment on IF Entry - T. Williker (Magic)

I like this one, mostly. It follows a heavy theme (dinos are big) and has more to do with Magic than Boxy! I think it would have been fine without the cane attack, tho'. Most enemies just do one action (if that), and I don't get the urge to make 'em do more than that.

Comment on IF Entry - fluffums (bubble)

I don't get the whole propeller thing. What type of enemy runs away from the player? Only ability thieves or things with some type of treasure would do that. That isn't the case in Kirby. Fleeing is counter-intuitive.
