Kirby's Adventure was Kirby's
first (and last) Nintendo game. To call it excellent, would
be an understatement. It featured better than ever NES
graphics, a big variety of tunes and extras galore to keep
all ages glued to this classic game. Nintendo fanatics way
back then and even today, regard Kirby's Adventure as one
of the best NES games ever.
There are over 26 abilities in which Kirby can gobble up
foes and take their ability. They ranged from beam, parasol
to wheel, ufo and tornado. Tons of extras along the way make
the game all the more enjoyable. You play a crane game to
catch Kirby (and hopefully extra lives), quick draw with your
foes, catch the eggs in which King Dedede is throwing (but
avoid those bombs!).
You can browse the museum for a random power, use the
warp station to quickly transport to another area of the
game you've already completed. But on top of that, there are
hidden switches Kirby must get to unlock some of these
items, all throughout the game. Once you beat the game, you
get extras, like Boss Battle, Extra Game (which you get even
more if you beat), Bonus Games and much more. The cartoony
bosses are from easy to challenging, and the game play is
smooth. Kirby's Adventure was a smashing hit with Kirby fans
and remains a favorite to many to this day.
