Boss
King Golem
Location:
Area 2 Moonlight Mansion Abilities: Stone (From Golem) Enemies: Golem, Gordo
He'll stomp his hands/feet and Gordos stones will drop
from the
ceiling that you can throw at him. (Or get up to him and
use your
ability while destroying the stones.) Once you hit him
three times
he'll spit out a Rock Golem which you can inhale for the
stone
ability, or just spit back at him.
If you do choose to get stone, a quick move to finish Rock
Golem
off, is to get right up at his eyebrow, barely touching
him and
then slam down the rock. This will knock him right out!
Moley
Location:
Area 3 Cabbage Cavern Abilities: Wheel (From Tire), Fire (from waste
can), Bomb (from bomb)
There are six sort of bumps that Molly can pop out of at
any
given time. She'll toss out spiked balls, tires, rocks,
screws
and strange waste containers here and there. Once in a
while
Just stay inbetween the bumps attack her when she pops
out, by
inhaling her wastes and spitting it back at her.
Hammer or rock works well to slam down on her or up at her
when she
hangs from the ceiling.
Kracko will usually start by spewing out a Flamer or
Waddle
Doo. You can scoop these up for Beam or Burning, or
Tornado
or spit them back at him.
Kracko then hovers about the room, doing one of his few
attacks.
1. Beam Attack - Kracko will shoot not one, but two beam
like
attacks that engulf him and is hard to avoid.
2. Rainstorm - He'll dash across the screen really fast,
and
then practically shoot daggers of rain. It's the dashing
you have to watch out for if your in the air.
3. Circling - Kracko will circle the whole room save for
the
corners. He does this real fast.
The best tactic is to stay opposite of Kracko, in an upper
corner. This way you are safe from Rainstorm and circling,
but as he moves towards you, move to the other side of the
room to avoid his Beam attack.
Even if you choose not to use the abilities from the
enemies
he spews out, make sure to at least get rid of Flamer and
Whirlwind, because with them loose in the room it can make
the battle a lot harder.
Mega Titan
Location: Area 5
Carrot Castle Room #17
Phase 1: Mega Titan
MegaTitan is a huge armored hovering robot that has 4
detachable arms. As he hovers around the room, he'll throw
his arms around and they will crash into the ground or
walls
causing stars to appear. These can be inhaled and lobbed
at him.
You'll notice on either side of the room is some sort of
electric barrier. MegaTitan is virtually invincible to
attack
except with Beam and Spark, but if you can hit him with
enough
force he'll slam into one of the barriers and fry himself.
So,
the goal of this fight is to attack him when he is close
to
the barriers and avoid his arms.
It is probably much easier to inhale the stars his arms
leave behind instead trying to use an ability, as the
stars offer much more power (unless you have a pretty
good ability).
After about 4 hits, he'll resort to phase 2.
Phase 2: Titan Head
From the ruins of the huge robot a smaller one will pop
out.
Funnily enough it kinda looks like a floating Meta Knight
head. It will float around, and then split open to shoot
a bullet. Just avoid it, grab these bullets and spit it
back at him.
The level will be split into
the water portion and land portion. You'll start on the
land portion and Gabriel will dominate the lower portion
with mini-sharks.
Being on the land section
is dangerous, as when Gabriel leaps out the water, you'll
be unable to dodge his attack! This battle is best fought
in water, and with an ability that can be used under
water. You can squirt at him or even try to bravely hop on
the land portion and inhale a mini-shark to lob at him or
take for the very helpful sword ability.
This boss has a style that
you will familiar with - Paint Roller from
Adventure/Nightmare!
There is a setup of four
platforms, and he'll swoosh around the level choosing one
the platforms to settle down on and unleash his attack.
His attack begins by him
flipping over the hat and tapping it with a wand, and then
an item will randomly come out to attack Kirby. There are
a variety of items to ingest for abilities, or lob at him
and use. One of the funnest bosses to fight perhaps.
Note: When
Wizard is in the hat form, he is invincible.
? ? ? (Dark Meta
Knight)
Location: Area 8
Raddish Ruins
This appears to be Meta
Knight, but something about him is not quite right.
Meta Knight is challenging as in all
the Kirby games where you fight him. He's a true
swordsmen, and his attacks are fast and furious. He'll
move about the level with ease, and all you can do is
inhale the stars he leaves behind as he swooshes his sword
(but you have to be fast!).
It is best to enter this
fight with an ability, because depending on the stars to
shoot at him won't happen often.
Master Hand
Location: Area 9
Candy Constellations
If you thought the Crazy
mini-boss is hard, you'll find the Master Hand duo much
harder as all the battle consists of is fighting two
Master Hands. They work together quite well to do a clap
attack, and smash, grab and shoot lasers at Kirby. This is
quite a battle, so get an ability your comfortable with
and call your friends if you need too!
Dark Meta Knight II
Location: The Mirror
At the start of the fight,
it once again looks like Meta Knight, but above on a ledge
is the real Meta Knight who aims his sword at the
imposter, who in turns reveals that he is Dark Meta
Knight.
This fight
is similar to the Dark Meta Knight in Radish Ruins, except
faster and harder. He'll also spin dash at you constantly,
so you'll have to be quick on your feet. Also in this
battle he has an attack where he'll charge the sword and
send a force beam at you that can be devastating, in
addition to the tornado like gust of wind he conjures up.
Dark Mind Phase I
Location: The Mirror
Abilities:
Fire (Red Star), Freeze (Blue Star), Spark (Purple Star),
Mix (Green Star)
This boss is the hardest
boss in the game, as you have to fight him
Thankfully, Meta Knight
gives you his sword to use on this baddie, and makes the
fight much easier. If you loose the sword, you won't get
it back until after the fight!
First, he'll come down
with mirrors encircling him that act like a shield. He'll
then unveil his cloak to show you his chest which is an
evil eyeball that will begin shootings stars! Use the
sword to slash at his chest, which is so much easier said
then done! He'll randomly teleport through the fight,
which can throw you off guard.
The best sword attack is
to get a running start and then jump into the air using
the sword. This is the sword's most safest attack, and you
can do a lot of damage with it!
If you loose the sword,
it's virtually hopeless trying to lob his own red stars
back at him as his mirror shield absorbs them.
However, try and inhale two stars at once and you'll get
Mix, which will allow you to choose a random ability which
can be helpful. Inhaling a single red star gives you fire,
which is also pretty good to use.
Doesn't sound too bad?
Well, this is the first fight. You must now fight him 3
more times! This means after each time, you will have a
brief period to collect a breather. There is some health
replenishing items too, and then it's straight back into
battle! Entering each battle Meta Knight's sword will be
waiting for you if you don't have it already.
In the second fight,
he'll shoot red and blue stars and he'll do more mirror
attacks. Blue stars can be inhaled for freeze. It is here that two platforms appear, and you can
hop on one of these, and attack him constantly from the
side if this helps you. You can also get in-between his
mirror attacks and get some good hits in.
In the third fight, there
will be water off to the sides, making your central
platform smaller to fight on. He'll also throw out red,
blue and purple stars at a much faster rate and the mirror
attacks will get faster and wider. Purple stars can be
inhaled for spark.
In the fourth fight,
he'll send off additional green stars, but all his attacks
virtually stay the same. The green stars can be inhaled
for Mix! If you've lost the sword, you can pick up a good
ability this way. The fighting platform is icy now,
which makes it slippery to fight on. He'll teleport super
fast now, and his star attacks become real hard to avoid.
He'll also start shooting out a ball, that is left too
long on the platform will cause a devastating explosion.
Get rid of the ball as soon as you can!
In simple words - this
battle is a great challenge and try to hold onto your
sword!
This battle will take
place in a fiery battle platform, and the second phase of
Dark Mind is big, making it hard to avoid. His trick is
his mirrors, which he'll use to bounce around and shoot
lasers off of.
The two hardest attacks
are one where he'll flip everything upside down. This is
not easy to adjust too, and attacking him is twice as
hard. His other attack is the laser beam he'll shoot down
that comes without warning.
In this phase, he can
also still once in a while drop that disco ball type thing
that does a damaging attack. He usually does this when the
level is flipped, although this attack seems rarer.
He'll also shoot out a
wide range of enemies which you can grab for an ability,
but your best off sticking with your sword unless you'd
prefer another ability.
Try to attack his eye
when it's open, and the mirrors when you can catch them.
Another challenging fight!
If you loose your sword,
sometime later that strange dark kirby you've seen through
the game to come and deliver it back to Kirby!
Dark Mind Phase III
Location: The Mirror
The final phase and boss
of the game, Dark Mind Phase III takes place like the
classic Nightmare Orb in Nightmare in Dreamland/Adventure!
He'll be facing you at the top part of the level, and
Kirby will be on a warp star which can be used to shoot
stars at him! He'll shoot back of course, but once you've
made it this far it's not as hard as his other phases.
Reflex is the key.
You cannot use your cell
phone to call your friends in this fight, but if you've
made it this far you'll probably be alright. Good luck!
