The first boss of the game is
almost like a practice fight. He's very easy, slow, and the
conditions on the battlefield are to your advantage. Just
use those launch boxes to send yourself flying on him. He'll
then spin around crazy for a few seconds. Take this time to
get out of his way and have some fun on the arrows going
around the board. Jump on them to propel Kirby around the
screen picking up items and avoiding this boss until he
calms down.
Level 2 - Orbservor
This boss is somewhat harder,
though not by much. When fighting him, just do the usual of
hopping on him and rolling away as fast as you can. There
are holes you can fall into that will keep you safe from
him. He won't just spin this time, but he'll spin and try to
fall on you. Around the perimeter of the battlefield, you'll
find some floor that will crumble as soon as you roll over
it. This makes the battle somewhat harder… but not by much.
Level 3 - Kracko
Kracko is hard, but he's fun!
Kirby gets to use the Gravity Balloon in this, in which he
must spit at Kracko while staying in the air (and getting
refills of balloons when he's about to fall) and avoiding
Kracko's ammo. This isn't too bad… except when you realize
Kracko is filling up the screen with Gordos. Once Kracko has
filled it up right to your starting platform, he'll dive
bomb you and knock you out cold regardless of anything. Just
keep shooting like crazy and don't worry about the ammo
since you'll more than likely shoot that trying to hit him.
Level 4 - Orbservor
The eyeball thing is back, and
this time he's starting to get a little smarter. The
battlefield has that awful quicksand on it, and slows you
down as you try and make it to the launch pads to attack.
There are walls running along the field, with gaps
in-between (for Kirby to conveniently fall) and the walls
are lined with spikes. With all these things to get in mind,
the boss has started to get a long smarter and will start
blinking to avoid getting hit. You cannot hurt him when his
eye is closed. When you hit him, get into the corner of
quicksand, he cannot cross that area but he can hover over
the launch pad. When he settles down, leave and try to hit
him again. Just try and outrun him. The third round he'll
get pretty hard, but there are tomatoes around in case.
Level 5 - Kracko (Phase two)
It's exactly the same
as the previous Kracko, except this one shoots lightning.
It's not too hard, just try to hit him as off center as you
can.
Level 6 - Orbservor
It's the same technique for the
Level 6 boss, however this one is a little harder than the
last. The platform is all ice, with almost no safety. When
you launch your attack, try to run to the bottom corners to
squeeze behind the wall and wait for him to calm down. It
takes major skill to get Kirby behind the wall, so you might
be better off just running jumper to jumper trying to get
out of the way.
Level 7 - Orbservor
This time, there are spikes
everywhere, and a breakable wall all around the platform.
Just attack him, and run from platform to platform. If he
hits you you'll just break off some wall (and maybe puncture
yourself on some spikes). What's even harder, is he begins
to close his eyes when he gets close to you on a launch pad.
Level 8 - King Dedede
It's the final showdown with
the infamous King Dedede. When you approach the lock, he'll
come out with his hammer. Jump into the cannon on the left
and wait for King Dedede to charge. Dodge him, then on this
way back to the wall, fire Kirby into his back. He'll then
run around crazy trying to flee, so just get in as many hits
as you can when he does this. Occasionally he'll throw his
hammer , but all you have to do is quickly go the opposite
direction to avoid it. Repeat, and watch him cry.
