Nintendo Power unveils a chock-ton of Super Star Ultra info!
I've never gotten why magazines are always released a month or so ahead, mang. Is it because they contain a ton of "coming soon" information the reason that video game magazines do it? I dunno...



Anyway! Nintendo Power reviewed Kirby Super Star Ultra in the most recent issue, giving it a respectable 9/10, and also giving better details on all of the new games!

- Revenge of the King is a "dark version of Spring Breeze". It may sound a tad disappointing that the game won't be entirely brand-new, but they've apparently upped the difficulty of the game a considerable amount, so it'll be great for those that want a good challenge.

- Meta Knight Ultra allows you to play through the entire game of Kirby Super Star Ultra as Meta Knight. The entire game! Hopefully you can save, unlike in Nightmare in Dream Land's Meta Knightmare.

- The two new Arena modes are Helper to Hero and The True Arena. In Helper to Hero, you can play through The Arena as (presumably) any and every helper character! The True Arena, on the other hand, will include the Revenge of the King bosses with the all the rest of the bosses. Hopefully the difficulty of the other bosses have been upped a bit to complement the newer, tougher bosses!


The release of Kirby Super Star Ultra is only three days away! (Four days away? A lot of games only start getting sold the day after they have been "released", but Kirby ought to be high-profile enough to warrant a first day release, right!?) Get those thirty dollar bills ready!

wow, the news of revenge of the king and meta knight ultra is very disappointing but since it states that the true arena will include all the bosses from revenge of the king maybe there are new ones? or old ones like Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright =D

Hmmm...well, I'm pleased.

As soon as I read that Revenge of the King was a harder version of Spring Breeze, the first thing that came to mind was the extra mode in Kirby's dreamland.

Metaknight playable in all games and playable partners in Arena? YES PLZ :D

They failed to include the info that the Revenge of the King thingy has DIFFRENT bosses, not HARDER bosses.

For example, Kracko is replaced by Kracko, Jr, who resembles the final boss in Kirby Squeak Squad.

2. I would leave this under the update but nobody might read it. The kirby commercial I pictured to be like this. A guy is playing on his DS. It goes to the screen and shows that it is the kirby game he's playing. Then out of no where another top screen pop up with another mode in the game. Then another and another until the whole screen is full of them. While thats going on the Narrator say" it's so big, your going to need more screens. Now you help kirby in his biggest adventures. I wouldn't be dissapointed if I were you all. I'm pretty sure some of you played the original Kirby's Dreamland.

'Revenge of the King' might as well be the EXTRA MODE *wink**wink* of Spring Breeze.

Maybe they might replace the enemies like they did in EXTRA MODE.

Maybe if we play our cards right...

KABOOLA might be there.(cannot promise that at allllll...)

Now the Kirby's Dreamland Remake is complete! I know that Kaboola was just a frigging blimp with a couple of shotzo's attached, but hey, he was hard as hell. Even more dangerous than Kracko.

Please do not spoil the other bosses for Revenge of the King for me. I am looking forward to getting this game.

PlatefieldKirby, we don't hate you, most of us have already beaten that part of the game, so we should know that now. It still doesn't make sense though, since Meta Knight fought himself in NiDL when the time came. But oh well, it doesn't matter, since he does fight a fighter much like himself in the end anyway.

Hey people. If you want a real challenge in KSSU, play the True arena, and don't use copy abilities. Play it the old fashioned way. You might not get good times, but you can sure find a challenge.

To Kirby 4 Ever:

I used the Plasma ability! The best part about it is that when you charge up to full, you get an electric barrier around you. It can protect you from many bosses' attacks, especially if you are guarding at the same time. You can't win with any other ability... except maybe Mirror Kirby.

To you people talking about what ability you used, the first I used was Hammer, and it was probably the best choice. My favorite to use though is suplex. Plasma is the one I use to do a speed run. I wonder if anyone beat it with wheelie?

a REALLY good way to beat the true arena is to be stone kirby. i only lost 1/2 my life. (of course i used all the applles b4 i fought marx soul :P)
