| Due to Gamespy maintenence cropping up every few minutes and a lack of (and possible loss of further) mailbag staff today, the mailbag will be delayed until next Sunday at the earliest. Sorry. However, I can now give you a theme, as we were missing one from the last mailbag! As Kirby Super Star Ultra will be released by the next mailbag, our question is simple: What do you think of the game? Good points? Bad points? | I think it's an awesome remake, I love the new CS and additional games and also the co-op mode, the only thing that ruins it are the controls I'm very used to KFP controls and keep getting them mixed up, also the CS woulda been better if they where a higher quality but all in all it's a fantastic game^-^ |

| this is a short review of the game and what i think of it: GOOD: *Visuals: This game is pretty, all the of KSS is re-drawn, with additional CG cutcenes too, I am Impressed the most in this category,It clearly shows that Alot of effort was put into this, and doesn't feel like a quick cash graper. *Gameplay: everything from KSS is back here, nothing was being cut from the movesets to the helpers, your known solid Kirby gameplay, playing multiplayer is a blast. BAD: *Sound: I can hardly hear the music and the sound effects even with the headphones, I am not sure what happened here, but the sound is VERY weak, the SNES version is superior here, but maybe this is the DS's fault for having a weaker sound chip than the SNES. *Multiplayer: In order to play muti you need a second DS just to play the minigames, and an extra cart to play the normal mutiplayer in the main game, It is really a hassle compared to the SNES where you just need a second controller, but then again this is the DS's (any handheld really) fault. |

| I love this game, but the thing i hate the most is that almost ALL of the new adventure games reuse levels from the original games (the ones that were in Super Star for the SNES) |

| I love this remake. I just beat it thoroughly (100%) a few minutes ago. 'Hero to Helper' is by far my favorite, I wish they would of extended that into the other 'stories'. The only one thing that could of possibly made this any better is non-local WIFI co-op support. |

| A great remake, no doubt. The new games, while kind of short, were awesome, I especially love Revenge of the King (it has enemies that haven't seen the light of day in kirby games for years, plus it's nice and challenging), and helper to hero (playing as a helper was awesome). Bad points? I felt that the multiplayer mini games were kind of... Useless. The sound quality isn't good, which is more of the fact that the DS can not meet up with the same sound quality as the SNES. A wifi connection for the co-op would have been better, too. Here's is something that is bugging me: I think Nintendo of America TOTALLY edited Wham Bam Rock. Here are my reasons for this statment: > The way he appears in the boss fight looks almost exactly like the hieroglyphs of him in the levels/platforms > His stronger counterpart, Wham Bam Crystal, does not look like a stone hieroglyph, yet almost the way Rock would appear unedited. > In the arena images on the top right corner, which pretty much shows a direct screen cap of the boss you are facing, Wham Bam Rock looks different then what he appears as a boss, as he is showing no teeth, but looks like he was made a little more brown. Sheesh NoA! No one cares that he looks a bit like a black man! No one complained in the ORIGINAL GAME, so why would people complain now? >_> |
