Look to your Right |
If you cannot tell what this update is about - you just might be an idiot! ... But, if do happen to be one anyway, I added two things to the right sidebars of the page.
The first is the Fan Creation Showcase. Put simply, if you submit any type of fan-type thing (Artwork, Writings, Games, Music, Custom Sprites, or something creative in general), through either mailing it to a staff member or through the fanart gallery, it might be showcased here on the frontpage for a little while. (I was aiming for making it do random content per pagepload, but alas, no dice.)
The next thing you'll notice is the Repair Alert. It should turn active to notify you if a staff member is doing matinence or work on a certain section. Meaning; if you visit that section or place at the time when the Repair Alert is active and it looks all screwed up, glitched, or imcomplete - don't worry, it is just the staffer working out all the kniks and such. The said staffer should usually update here on the frontpage when the repairs are done.
Might I also note the distrubing majority of you on the recent poll want the Kirby 64 Style Mixing to return. I find this a little bit odd. ... Personally, I wouldn't mind for something a little bit different! After all, if you have the same thing over and over again - it might get a little bit boring, don't you think?
Also, a note to the rest of the staff - this stuff operates alittle different than the rest of the HTML around here. I'll detail how it should work in the Staff Directory (not the Staff Room; the Directory).

Wowoweewa. We got a lot of e-mails in the past month, so I got few people (quite a few, really) together and had them help me answer a fair bulk of them... [full story gogogo]

Maintence: Forums, Gallery |
Just a couple of software updates today. People might have difficulty signing up for a new account for the duration on the forums. I'll update when I'm done.
Edit: Forum portion of the upgrade is complete. Registration should work properly.

Kirby: Breakout Quest 2 Virtual Dilemma |
From Blaster Boy, comes the sequel to his fun Breakout Quest game!
After getting through the breakout world of Dark Nova in Kirby: Breakout Quest, King Dedede decides to start trouble as he gets Kirby to try out his brand new break out game. As Kirby plays it, a virus traps him in the game! There must be some way to escape, and there must be something behind this...
Features new blocks and random effects, and 4 levels per world with a boss at the end of each. If you liked the first one, you'll love the sequel!
And it's got a level called Bubble Gum Beach. How cute is that?!
So head over and start downloading it =)

Hooray for snow days |
Snow days mean I can sit around and do nothi- I mean, work on the site. :D
Did you know Kirby's Adventure was released on the Virtual Console for the Wii? If you haven't downloaded it yet, go do it! Even if you've played the remake, the two versions do have quite a few differences. (I've updated the Enemies and Abilities section in there.)
In honor of that, I've updated the Kirby's Adventure Gallery with a TON of official art! All of Kirby's abilities, enemies, bosses, and then some. I've updated a lot of the old stuff with bigger, cleaner scans too!
Thanks to donations by several people from the forums, including Jboy, Disaster Kirby, GameTrekker and others, I was able to purchase lots of Japanese Kirby books filled with official artwork from older Kirby games!

MORE stuff :D |
I had intended on updating yesterday but there were technical difficulties!
First, TWO two subbed episodes released today! Go watch 'Save Up! Cursed Bank' and 'Sentimental Kirby'! Sorry for the delay!
Second, I've updated the Kirby's Dream Land 2 gallery with artwork of Kirby's abilities, animal friends, and enemies.
And finally, KRR has a new affiliate! A Japanese site, 'Ashika no Hobii', belonging to Karakara. (The guy who does the subs with me!) The name is the syllables of 'Hoshi no Kaabii' mixed around, isn't that cute? XD You can use translation sites like Excite to read it! (Simply input the URL, select the second button that says 日→英 and hit enter.)

Just a small thing! |
Hey kids, do you like Kirby? Do you like Wikipedia? GREAT! Even though I'm hard at work on KRR's Kirbypedia, me and others are still vigilantly protecting Kirby's Wikipedia pages from vandalism!
If you'd like to become part of the Kirby project at Wikipedia, then email me at ivynajspyder@gmail.com and we'll talk! You can also check out the Kirby Wiki topic at the forums here. If you can help, go check it out and join in the discussion.
I'll also need people to write articles for the Kirbypedia, so if you think you can eventually help with that, that'd be super.

GOOD NEWS |
According to IGN, that Kirby game announced for Gamecube like... two years ago? Well it's been officially moved to the Wii! So REJOICE! No release date yet. Maybe we'll finally get more info and media on it!
As usual, we at KRR will try our best to keep you informed on all things Kirby. :D

Front Page Submissions Abound |
First and foremost, a kudos goes out to Kikilin for this months Front Page Picture. It's themed-o-riffic!
Unseen before, there has been not one, not two, but a whopping slew of Front Page submissions this month, and at least three are post worthy. As celebration of this momentous occurrence, I'll probably leak them out, so don't be discouraged, guys-or-dames-who-didn't-make-it-this-month. You're still in the races.
