This is a General Guide to the Themes of Kirby's Air ride.
It'll mention where the tracks for the Alternate, event and
stadium
themes originally come from. Many of the music tracks in air
ride are
remixes of old themes from different games. Some other come from
the
Anime, others are originals. This guide will also explain how to
unlock
the themes in the sound test.
On a side note: The themes that from the anime were removed from
the
dub version.

To unlock the alternate theme in Fantasy Meadows you must race
in time
attack, on Fantasy meadows and finish it in under 01:00:00
Air Ride:Beginner's Guide: Beanstalk park (Kirby Super Star:
Beginners
Guide)
For Beanstalk park's alternate theme you must race on Beanstalk
park in
Time Attack Mode finishing in under 02:55:00
Air Ride: Green Greens: Checker Knights (Smash Brothers Melee:
Green
Greens )
While racing on Checkered Knights in air ride mode, you must use
the
Spin panels (The red spinning panels) at least seven times and
then
finish in first place.
Air Ride: Arena: Sky Sands (Kirby Super Star: The Arena)
While racing on Sky Sands in air ride mode. you must open the
trapdoor
3 times, and then finish in first place.
Air Ride: Half Moon: Magma Flows (Kirby Super Star: Milky way
Wishes: Halfmoon)
Race in time attack on Magma Flows and finish in under 03:20:00.
Air Ride: Rainbow Resort: Frozen Hillside (Kirby's
Adventure: Rainbow
Resort)
Race the recommended two laps on Frozen Hillside in Air ride,
and
finish in under 01:56:00.
Air Ride: Halberd: Machine Passage (Kirby Super Star: Revenge of
Meta
knight: Halberd)
Race on Machine Passage in Air ride mode. While racing have
three
machines get shot out of the courses cannon at the same time.
Air Ride: Forest: Celestial Valley (Kirby's Adventure: Forest)
While racing on Celestial Valley in Air ride, grind on both the
left
and right rails of the suspension bridge.
Air Ride: Dream Land: Nebula Belt (Kirby Nightmare In Dreamland:
Fountain of Dreams)

Receiving Checkered Knights in the sound menu requires racing in
Air
ride on checkered knights and finishing in under 02:40:00.
Air Ride:Sky Sands: (Kirby Air Ride: Sky Sands)
To earn the Sky sands course theme race in time attack on sky
sands and
complete in under 03:10:00.
Air Ride:Nebula belt: (Kirby Air Ride: Nebula Belt)
To get the nebula belt theme (#11) in the sound test, you need
to race in time attack mode on beanstalk park using the rocket
star completing it in 3:00:00 or less.
Air Ride:Magma Flows: (KIrby Air Ride: Magma Flows)
To get Magma flows in the sound menu race on Magma Flows in air
ride
and drive a distance 4,800 ft in two minutes.
Air Ride:Machine Passage: (Kirby Air Ride: Machine Passage)
To earn Machine Passage in the sound menu. Race in time attack
on
Machine passage and finish in under 03:10:00
Air Ride: Frozen Hillside: (Kirby Air Ride: Frozen Hillside)
Race in free run on Frozen hill and do one lap in under 00:58:00
to
earn the Frozen Hillside theme.
Air Ride: Beanstalk Park: (Kirby Air Ride: Beanstalk Park)
There are two ways to get beanstalk park in the sound menu.
1: In Time attack race on beanstalk park with ROCKET star, and
finish
in under 03:00:00.
2: On Beanstalk park in free run complete a lap in under
00:58:00 on
WINGED star.
Air Ride: Fantasy Meadows:(Kirby Air ride: Fantasy Meadows)
To earn the Theme of Fantays meadows in the sound menu complete
one in
free run on fantasy meadows in 00:21:00
Air Ride:Celestial Valley:(Kirby Air Ride: Celestial Valley)
To Earn celestial valley in the sound test you must complete on
lap on
Celestial Valley in Free run in under 00:57:00
To get the nebula belt theme (#11) in the sound
test, you need to race in time attack mode on beanstalk park
using the rocket star completing it in 3:00:00 or less.

In Top ride race on the course of metal and come in first place

Top Ride: Mountain Leve:Grass (Kirby Super Star: Dynablade)
Race on Grass in top ride mode, come in first place having used
the
boost pads five times
Top Ride:Rock Star:Sand (Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards: Rock Star)
In time attack on Sand finish the given number of laps in under
00:29:00 to earn Sand's alternate theme.
Top Ride: Float Islands:Water (Kirby Super Star: Spring Breeze)
While racing in top ride mode, on water you must come in first
place
five seconds sooner than the the player in second.
Top Ride: Mid-boss: Light (Kirby 64 The crystal Shards: Mid
Boss)
In time attack on the course light finish the given number of
laps
under 00:33:00 to earn Light's alternate theme.
Top Ride:King DeDeDe:Fire (Kirby Super Star- Spring Breeze: King
Dedede)
While racing on Fire in topride mode come in first place while
holding
the fire item.
Top Ride: Halberd Map: Sky (Kirby Super Star: Revenge of Meta
knight)
WHile racing on Sky in free run complete one lap in under
00:09:00 to
earn Sky's alternate theme.
Game Mode: Course Title/Music Theme (Original Location)
[Main Themes]
Top Ride:Metal: (Cave Level: Kirby Super Star: Dynablade)
To earn the Metal main theme in the sound menu, take first place
on
metal, and break at least 5 of the walls that stick out of the
rotating
gears. Top Ride: Water: (Kirby Air Ride: Water)
Now to get the water theme in the sound test menu, race in top
ride in
Water and complete 5 laps in under 01:02:00.
Top Ride:Fire: (Kirby Air Ride: Fire)
To earn Fire in the sound menu, race on fire in top ride mode
and take
first place a total of 10 times.
Top Ride: Sky: (Kirby Air Ride: Sky)
Race in top ride on the course sky and Hit the Island knob at
least
five times. (That's the blue button) this will earn you sky in
the sound
menu.
Top Ride: Grass: (Kirby Air Ride: Grass)
To earn Grass in the sound menu, race in top ride, on grass and
finish
in first without using ANY items. (The items must be turned on
however)
Top Ride: Sand: (Kirby Air Ride: Sand)
To get the Sand theme in the sound menu, race on sand in top
ride, and
come in first place without using the boost.
Top Ride: Light: (Kirby Air Ride: Light)
To get the Main theme of top ride Course light, race a total of
100
laps in top ride mode, on the course Light.
City Trial:

City [backside]: To earn the Alternate theme for the City in
City
Trial, collect a total of 1000 items.
[Main Themes]
Legendary Machine:
To earn the theme of the Hydra and Dragoon in the sound menu,
play in
City Trials frun mode. While playing change to ten different
machines.
City Trial:
To get the City's main theme in the sound menu, play in free
mode and
drive for a total of 30 minutes. (This doesn't need to be done
all that
once)
[Event Themes]
Set up- Game Mode: Music Theme: Event Name (Original Location)
City Trial/Stadium: Dyna Blade Intro: Dyna Blade/ VS. Dedede:
(Kirby's
Dreamland: Castle Lololo)
To earn Dynablade's theme it the sound test, race in city trial
mode,
and deal damage to her during her event. (To damage her hit her
int the
head, using a bomb, or a Golden Spike, or ram her head with your
air
ride machine)
City Trial: Rowdy Charge Tank: Air Ride Machines run amok (Kirby
Nightmare In dreamland: Air Grind mini-game)
To earn "rowdy charge tank in the sound menu, race in the
stadium event
Drag Race 1, and finish in under 00:20:00.
City Trial: What's in the Box/Same items in boxes: (Anime:
Dedede
Passes By)
To get "what in the box" In the sound menu, defeat 30 enemies in
the
stadium event "Kirby Melee 2" this has to be done in one match.
City Trial: Station Fire: UFO Theme/ Station Fire: (Anime: It
Appeared!
Escape!)
to get the theme called "station fire" in the sound menu destroy
the
slick star while riding the Formula star. Do this in City Trial
City Trial: The Lighthouse Light Burns: Light House Event
(Anime: No
real Title )
To get "The Lighthouse lights Burn" In the sound test, race in
city
mode and destroy the Warp Star while riding the swerve star.
City Trial: Flying Meteor:Meteor Event (Anime: )
Getting the theme "Flying Meteor", requires only to have the
Meteor
event happen a total of three time in city trial.
City Trial: Huge Pillar: Pillar Event (Anime: No real title used
many
times)
to get "The Huge Pillar" Break a total of five of the pink
pillars that
randomly appear in City Trial.
City Trial: TAC's Challenge: TAC Steals Items (Anime: Move
aside, Move
Aside)
To get "Tac's Challenge" in the sound test, steal 8 items, by
yourself, from Tac during his random event. This has to be done
in one match.
City Trial: Dense Fog Today: Fog event (Anime: Demon Beast
Transmission)
To get "Dense Fog Today" in the sound menu, destroy a total of
500
boxes in city trial.
City Trial/Stadium: Air Glider: Air Ride Machine Formation/Air
Glider/High Jump: (Anime: Exceeding Space-time)
To Earn the theme "Air glider" fly for 30 seconds continuously
in the
stadium event "Air Glider"
Secret Area of Castle Opens: No Theme
City Trial: Item Bounce: Bouncy Items/Fake Items (Anime: Dedede
Bustle)
To earn the Bouncy Items event theme, collect a total of 100
items in
city trial.
Stadium: Target Flight: Target Flight (Caves Theme:Kirby Super
Star:
Dynablade)
To earn target flight in the sound menu glide for 15 seconds
continuously in the stadium event "Target flight"
Stadium: Kirby Melee: Kirby Melee (Anime: Warp Star)
To earn the theme of Kirby melee in the sound menu, race in the
stadium
event "Kirby melee 2" and destroy 40 enemies in one match.
Drag Race: To earn the Drag race theme in the sound menu,
complete the
stadium event "Drag Race 4" in under 00:19:00
