Ax Knight: "We are losing power! Engine No.3! Engine
No.5!"
Mace Knight: "Ain't any power left! We can't fly!"
Meta Knight: "(We've failed... it's over.) Attention all
crew! Evacuate
ship!!"
Captain: "Waaah! The ship's going down!""
On the ship, it
appears many have already evacuated as there are
only mechanical enemies left...
Captain: "I'm not staying. I'm evacuating!!"
Meta Knight:
"Now, it's your turn to evacuate."
Ax Knight: "No, I want to stay with you, Sir!"
Mace Knight: "Let's try one more time to get Kirby!"
Meta Knight:
"Hmmm..........it's dangerous, but it's
worth a try!"
Meta Knight:
"Thank you, guys."
Don't forget to
grab the tomato off the hook before climbing the
level! Head up the elevator.
Ax Knight: "Wait, Kirby!!"
Mace Knight: "You can't go any further!"
As you go up the
elevator and progress to the right, Meta Knight's
cronies are giving one last attempt to foil Kirby.
Kirby plummets
the enemies with brutal blows and they are forced
to withdraw.
Ax Knight: "Sir Meta-Knight, you're on your own!"
Mace Knight: "We're evacuating!"
After finishing the
battle with the Meta clan, Kirby proceeds to the
right and then he hears the unmistakable
voice.....
Meta Knight:
"Kirby, this is it! Prepare to die!"
Waddle Dee: "Th-thump. Th-thump."
The final battle
starts, as Meta Knight keeps his back nobly to
you. Grab the sword for an intensely hard battle
or wait for about 30 seconds and Meta Knight gets
too impatient and just starts the fight whether
you have a sword or not. Meta Knight is
challenging and rightfully so, as he is the last
boss in this story.
Upon being defeated,
Meta Knight's mask splits in two, revealing his
true form!
He then sweeps
himself up into his cloak and disappears. It's all
finally over...
Except the Halberd
is now completely helpless in staying in the air!
It begins a downward plunge.
Kirby is thrown
deeper into the mess at the sudden drop!
But when Kirby is
about to reach the ground, one of Wheelies he
rescued is waiting for him so he may escape
safely!
Meta Knight:
"You'll never escape!"
Meta Knight is not
giving up and with his last ounce of energy he is
flying towards Kirby as Wheelie zooms them closer
to safety. Just keep going as fast as you can and
watch out for Meta Knight's magic attacks and
sword slashing offense. After Kirby and Wheelie
jump over many large gaps, there is a final jump
made to safety.
On a cliff, Kirby
watches the broken down silhouette of the Halberd
against the setting sun, as it plunges into the
Ocean. Meta Knight's plans to overthrow Dreamland
have once again been foiled, by a courageous Kirby
and his new friend.
