The Chef is in the House! |
We may have seen him before around a year and a half ago, but now we finally get to see Cook Kirby once again!
Just as most people suspected, Cook Kirby is indeed Kirby's Final Smash. However, this new update shows that Cook Kirby operates in the same fashion as he does in Super Star and Amazing Mirror, in that his enemies get sucked into the pot, he stirs them around a bit, and produces a bunch of items, while sending them skyrocketing into the air! A rather funny Final Smash indeed.

Kirby Super Star remake for DS? |
Sites, including IGN, have reported that a Kirby Super Star remake was revealed at Nintendo's Autumn Conference, and is on the way for DS, called Hoshi no Kābī: Ultra Super Deluxe in Japan.
French video game website Gamekult has some interesting screenshots. More on this as news is revealed.
By the looks if it, there are some 3D cutscenes, which look greatly awesome. Imagine a 3D Marx!
Also, what looks like collectable cards, which include Dark Meta Knight and Drawcia.
Here's hoping for Wi-Fi Helper mode, too.

Hi, I'm not dead |
I was just on vacation. So I have episode 63 subbed, 'The Bitter Cold of December'. You can go watch it here as usual or get it from MegaUpload on the forums. And a very very late set of Guru Answers.
Anyway, how about all this crazy Smash Bros. stuff? There are lots of new videos of a playable demo and stuff. Apparently Meta Knight is turning out to be a super awesome and overpowered character. And it seems he has a new English voice- not the dub one but something new and... Well you can hear for yourself. It's at the very end. "Victory is my destiny."

Attacks fit for a King! |
As if telling us that King Dedede is in Brawl yesterday wasn't enough, Sakurai has gone and shown us some of King Dedede's Special Moves!
His Up B move, the Super Dedede Jump, is easily identified as a throwback to his classic jump attack from the early Kirby games.
With his Side B move, King Dedede is able to chuck Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos, and even Gordos at his enemies!
As if his hammer wasn't already large enough, using Dedede's Down B move exposes a large jet engine inside of it, allowing him to charge up and attack with the speed and strength of a rocket!
Truly fitting moves for King Dedede, in my opinion.
